Although the host was very friendly and kind, she was oblivious to the fact that the house and gardens are in very poor condition. The furniture has seen better days, dingy and dirty and the house absolutely bursting at the seams with clutter and stacks. There were even dirty glasses and wine bottles lying around. The place seemed only suitable...

We were on our honeymoon and chose the Inverness area so that we could ride our bikes on the nearby trail, kayak, snorkel, and look for manatee. We could hardly find any B&B's in this area, and were thrilled to finally find Magnolia Glen. It is very affordable, but as a result, do not expect an immaculate yard and home....

We had a wonderful time with Bonnie at this bed and breakfast. True, she has pets but they never came to the areas where we were or were any bother to us. They are well behaved. The decor is nice even if it was not as tidy as you might expect. The breakfast are served with charm and each dish...

The setting of Magnolia Glen brings you back in time. Old oak tees with hanging moss, and in the back is a lake filled with lilly pads. Bonnie is a charming and well travelled hostess who has many great stories to go along with her wonderful breakfasts. There is no glitz here just a comfortable get away that reminds you...

We had a wonderful time staying at Magnolia Glen. If you are looking to stay somewhere and feel like you are staying at Grandma's house this is the place to go. Bonnie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and takes good care to make you feel at home. The house is definitely an older home that...

My husband, Fred, and I had the pleasure of staying at the Magnolia Glen B&B for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting Fred's parents - not to mention sharing some wonderful breakfasts and conversations with Bonnie, the proprietor. She was always pleasant, and the meals were luscious! We stayed in the Lake Room and it was very...

We drove up from Naples, FL to swim with manatees at Crystal River. What a beautiful area! This place is so charming and we really enjoyed our stay with Bonnie. She is such warm and friendly hostess. She definitely has a gift with people. We really enjoyed meeting her. Breakfast was wonderful, the house is very cute and we just...

We decided on Magnolia Glen because the price was so reasonable. We didn't do any research about Inverness or the area other than looking up directions on how to get there, and choosing the most meandering, un-highwayed route. The drive out was fantastic. Once we got out past Apopka, it was all fields and forest and antique stores and campgrounds....

If you want to relax in beautiful surroundings this is the place. Bonnie is a very welcoming host and makes her guests feel at ease. We have stayed with her several times and now use Magnolia Glen as our winter getaway. Breakfast is a very sociable occasion and the food is top class. We travel from a damp, cold, unfriendly...

We made a reservation for one night, but did not stay after we say the inside of the B&B. It was very unkempt and was in need of repairs. The outside and the general location looked OK. After we checked in and went out for lunch, we had second thoughts and decided to cancel based on the condition of the...
