Decent motel! The girls at the front desk were amazing! Always polite and super helpful! Parking was limited but we did manage to find a place every night. We never did use the water park since the beach was so close but we did check it out and seemed to be a happening place. The only downfall we had was our room was not cleaned at all while we were there…..which really didn’t bother us because we could go to the office and get what we needed if we ran out…..and that worked out well but we could have used the trash cans in our room emptied at least once. It is definitely a place for families to enjoy! One other thing, we had 3 people in our room but would only receive 2 wristbands daily for the water park, so had we used the water park we would have had to purchase one every day. It wasn’t a big deal, but be aware when booking to make sure. I had teenage girls so the beach was a little more enticing to them. There was also beach shops and eating places within walking distance so that was nice. The beach was just a block or two. I would recommend this hotel….especially for families! …

Hotel's Favorite
Wonderful place to stay , clean , in the middle of every you can walk too including the beach 2 blocks away . Very friendly customer service , have actually been staying here about 2 years now since I found it ! If you get a single room without the condo it is still large and roomy with a small fridge , coffee bar , and microwave . Nice large bathrooms . And if you stay off season it is a great reasonable price with Great parking ! Beds are very comfortable and nice linens .

Great vacation! Went with family. Location is great, beds are comfortable, a lot of help around. Water park is awesome. Highly recommended!!!! Can't wait to go back!!! If you have the chance to go, you should!

The Manager and Front Desk people are the best in the industry. They all belong getting a raise including the Front end manager. Not the sales team or the older front end time share guy. This hotel had black mold in our room. They got us out of room and gutted out that room. We had 4 different rooms and everyone of them there floors were so filthy. U had black socks from them. I feel like there must be lots of black mold in building. Came home sick from staying here. I have to say the front desk people are so helpful and kind. The cleaning is not reflected on them. There was black mold in our dishes.. reported that. I feel like if Florida health department came they would find lots black mold in building. It was in stair wells. I have to say they had awesome beds and super customer service. Probably the best we have had in years. I really hope this review is not toward front desk. It's needing a real tune up on cleaning. U ruin your socks. Feet hot dirty if u never wore socks. The water park had drinking and young kids doing drugs.They were so obnoxious We had to leave with our grandkids. We never went back. I reported it to lifeguards. Nothing happened. I talked to the police in the town..They encouraged me next time call them. I never reported it to front desk cause I know they say they don't own water park. So beware of no rules. In water park with college kids. It ruined our last 4 days we couldn't swim. We ended up sightseeing. We will never go back to this place again. We realized there lots of other way better places to stay. We will enjoy our Marriott and Hilton hotels. They care about cleanliness.…

Great stay. Love staying at Harbourside. Wouls suggest this resort to anyone that wants a clean, friendly staff, very convenient place to stay. Not our first stay here and cant wait to return. Oh and the waterpark is wonderful.

Minor updates needed. The closet door half didn’t open or close. Sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom didn’t stay open. Nice location, great restaurants in the area. Little tough to control the temperature in the condo, colder then we like it. Overall a nice visit, great water park. If you have younger children or grandchildren it’s a great place.

I can't say enough good things about this place! This is the second year we've stayed at this hotel and found it to be perfect for a fun-filled vacation with the whole family. FIRST, the staff is amazing! Davion welcomed us and offered to bring us any household items we might need (large salad bowl showed up at our doorstep in just a couple minutes). Christina kept us well stocked in toiletries, laundry & dishwasher pods, and all the towels our family of 6 could want. And our favorite, Concierge Jim always greeted us with a warm smile, waterpark passes, beach towels and treated us like old friends. I apologize that we didn't catch everyone's name, but the other front desk staff and maintenance workers were always cheerful and eager to please. The condo itself was spacious and clean, with modern furnishings and amenities. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this might disappoint, but if you want a place where your family can play without worrying about tracking in sand, then you should find this quite comfortable. We cooked most meals and found the kitchen adequately stocked. The water park itself is clean, and small enough that you can keep an eye on the kids from pretty much anywhere. The after-hours use of the pool for hotel guests is an added bonus. The beautiful beach is just a 3-4 minute walk, with fine sand and lots of shells. We've been visiting Indian Rocks Beach in February for the past 6 years and have found it to be an ideal walkable location for an active family. Exploring the neighborhood, we discovered bocce & volleyball courts (bring your own balls), a must-see museum of IRB history, and a long walkway along the bay side to stroll among the dozens of boats docked right behind the hotel. Besides an abundance of restaurants & shops, CVS is a block away with food items and incidentals. Publix, Target, Walmart, Marshall's, etc. are all within 5 miles. Just north of the causeway intersection is the local residential neighborhood with a nature walk along the bay (saw several fishermen) and playground (11th Ave). Around 15th Ave is another large playground with skateboard park, pickleball & basketball courts, and a public library across the street that loans board games & jigsaw puzzles. We also found several little free libraries dotted around town (so bring some books to share), as well as a free beach toy bin at the access point across from CVS. These are just a few tips ~ there's much more to explore along Gulf Blvd between Clearwater and Treasure Island. Also, if you're a biker, there's a wide designated bike path all along Gulf Blvd. …

rarely write reviews but I gotta give credit where credit is due. I travel a lot and live in Charleston, sc, and adore the gulf side of Florida. Can’t beat the crystal clear water and white sand. I’ve stayed in many resorts along that coast and this one is by far one of my favorites. The location is fantastic. Not only is it walking distance to the ocean but we had easy access to restaurants, groceries, shops, and of course the water park! My kids, ages 14 and 12, had such a blast at the water park. As a parent I loved it too because there are lifeguards on duty, they supply towels, and food was easy to order and right on site, adult drinks too, and the staff was great, so I had very little worry. Our room was beautiful too! Kitchen was so roomy and equipped with everything you need. If you wanted to cook a thanksgiving dinner, you could do it with the kitchenware they supply. Indian Rocks Beach is a special place. Very walkable, and the Harborside Resort is located right in the middle of it - many fantastic mom & pop-type restaurants with happy hour and live entertainment, a local history museum, and a couple blocks from the beach, which was never crowded. It was unspoiled and beautiful. Jim McAvoy, the Concierge for Harbourside, took time to get to know us and what we were looking for during our stay. He gave us recommendations that helped our week at Harbourside to be among the best vacations we have ever had. He went above and beyond any Concierge we have ever had. He was great. Our apartment at Harbourside was spacious and comfortable. They have a parking garage so our truck was covered. It was a good value for the price we paid, but it did need some work. The wood floors need to be replaced very badly as they are warped and could be a trip hazard. The HVAC did not work well either, and the Kitchen was not very well- appointed with utensils, pots and pans or glasses. The toaster did not work, but the maintenance man brought us a new one. He also tried to fix the HVAC, but it appeared to be a systemic operational problem that he could not repair. The Waterpark was awesome. We went there several times during the week. Despite the issues with the apartment, we would stay at Harbourside again.…

This hotel exceeded our expectations-the room was very clean, nice and upscale. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got passes for the water park and my girls (4 and 6) were in heaven. We live less than two miles from this hotel but wanted to do something special for our girls for Valentines Day. We could not have been happier and will do more “Staycations” here for sure. We love everything about this place!
