We recently visited MIssion Inn to play golf on their two golf courses. The hotel, golf and restaurant staff were great. Friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was very nice. We upgraded to a Club Suite and it was spacious and comfortable. Sound proofing was not so good. People checked in next door on the last night and you could hear their tv until 2:30 a.m. We were a bit disappointed in the golf courses as we had hoped they would be in better condition. The tee boxes and off fairway conditions needed some help. There were many tee boxes that had no grass. El Campeon is an very challenging course. Las Colinas has a great layout. Unforunately, we got behind a foursome that probably should give up the game. When you see t-shirts and hats on backwards, driving up near the greens, playing in residents back yards, we knew they were not experienced golfers and as such the pace of play was slow. The restaurants are very good but extremely pricey. We did enjoy our trip but it would not be someplace that we would return to very soon.

I was there for a family reunion 2019, we all chipped in for the cost of the venue. This place nicked and dimmed us! Money hungry!!!! We had a budget and they grossly over charged for Everything! The management was horrible! greedy, revenue driven establishment! No words can describe how dissatisfied we all are. A family reunion shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg! Literally! Thumbs down! Go somewhere else!!!

great getaway not far from Orlando....amazing golf, relaxing as anything I have ever experienced. great low key staff and service. rooms are clean and the grounds are gorgeous. had dinner in the fine dining and it was fantastic, fun night and also had breakfast buffet next morning and it was lovely. spend time outside to get most out of your trip.

The golf course is great. Golfing in a tournament with 75+. The resort is lacking. Messed up my room choice twice. No refrigerator. No service at the pool. Restaurant doesn't open till 4. Weird stains on my bedspread.

My husband and I took a friend of ours from England for Sunday brunch. We haven’t visited for a year and we noticed some changes. The Hacienda restaurant looks very tired and dated. The chairs at our table were worn with torn seat covers. The buffet seemed less fresh and with fewer choices. The service was good however. I’m not sure we will return anytime soon given the price of the buffet versus the dated ambience.

We met friends for lunch at the La Hacienda restaurant at the resort. Sat outside to enjoy great weather, water fountains and the lake. My wife enjoyed a fantastic salad and I had the chicken sandwich. It will be hard to figure out if the food or the setting is the best. Actually its a win win. Really enjoy the service too. So nice to be treated so well. It says alot about what you can expect at this resort. Next time it would be nice to spend a few days there.

Fantastic resort & spa in mid Florida outside the hustle & bustle of the Orlando area but close enough to get to Disney from the backside. Golf enthusiast paradise. First class amenities. Quiet area. Great in-resort restaurant options. Spa facilities. Highly recommend.

Staff at reception desk ,from 1917, not rude but not welcoming. Our room in the further most building with no security or any staff in it. Room was outdated from the 1990, five feet bathtub with such a low ceiling, I which am 5"8" ,could touch it. Mold in the bottom of bathtub. Wife had to get chlorine bleach before she would bathe. The grounds are beautiful. It must have been great it is heydays, but it is going to take Marriott to tear this place down and make it a destination. Will never ever go back, do not get lure by the landscape, this place is a dive. The Home 2 Suites is like the Rizt Carlton compare to this place, Forget the photos they give you on the web site.

I am a local who lives in nearby Mount Dora. The Mission Inn is my go to place for a special date or cocktail hour. Several great restaurants and bars, all wonderful. I love to visit their quiet marina on Lake Harris. I have been visiting this place since 1968 and I am not even a golfer.
