We stayed on the golf course, playing 18 holes. Reminds me of Augusta National… pine straw, elevation change, huge greens. And most important, nice people on staff. It is an hours drive for my golf partner, and darn well worth it. By far, our fav course in central Florida. The new owners are pouring a lotta $$$ into this wonderful golf venue, making the course prettier, and a shot or two easier. We love it

It had been many years since we visited Mission Inn Resort & Club. With the Florida summer heat and the Pandemic, the Resort was not crowded or busy. In seeking a room we checked various internet options and found the best rate was with AAA. The updated King Room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also updated. (Note: Our unit did not have a refrigerator - there is space under the coffee bar where one could fit but no power for it. That would be a nice feature.). Since we only stayed one night and were visiting family nearby we did not dine at the Resort. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub - before the summer afternoon storm arrived. We enjoyed our golf on El Campeon! This is a terrific golf course with some elevation changes not often seen in areas of Florida. The golf staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. There were open tee times around our 11:30AM which made for a very good pace of play. The course was overall in good shape. It did have some challenges especially in the bunkers from recent rains, so many bunkers were filled with water. The Nicker's Restaurant at the Clubhouse is not open due to Pandemic but they have a Food Stand (Tent) near the starting holes where golfers can get sandwiches, drinks, etc. It was a nice getaway and met our needs for a respite and good day of golf and relaxation.

The two golf courses are great, part of the reason we stayed at Mission Inn. Exterior looks a little tired, but room furniture has been upgraded. September Magical dining was the other reason we stayed. The food was good, but the restaurant was far too cold. The staff apologised but said that it was controlled elsewhere and they had reported it.

Beautiful NYE stay. Played a round in Las Calinas when we arrived then went to Knickers for dinner. Knickers was good but bleu chips chips were burnt. Checked in and hit the room to get ready. Liked the patio was enclosed. Beautiful grounds to walk around with your companion. Such a quiet facility. Beds were comfortable. Brunch was heavy with all the options. Can see us returning.

What a fabulous place. Went for a three day getaway with my sister to play golf and relax. Challenging but not intimidating championship courses. We liked El Campion best. Beautiful courses that were extremely well maintained. (An LPGA event to take place here at the end of May) and the views of the hills were unbelievable. We ate every meal on property and never did we duplicate a dish or didn’t like a preparation of a dish! There is a chefs garden as well so you know everything is the freshest. Simply outstanding. We had the bed and breakfast rate which was most reasonable. The green fees are off season I believe and very reasonable as well. Staff was outstanding even tho they were short handed. Can’t say enough about this resort!,

Had played El Campeon before and reserved online to bring a friend and play again last week. Got there 45 minutes early for tee time as usual and found out we had been switched to Las Colinas. Not a problem. Was more than happy to check out the other course. Pro shop very friendly. Told us the course was wide open and since we were a twosome, we could go off early if we wanted. Headed down to the starter, who informed us that he was waiting for two foursomes of elderly ladies to show up. I informed him that the pro shop had said we could get out early and his response was "they don't decide that, I do". Long story short, we waited 15 minutes for them to even show up and ended up playing one of the slowest, most agonizing rounds ever, due to the starter's arrogance. We thought about quitting and demanding our money back. The courses are not bad and prices are within reason, but this experience will make me think twice before going back.

Had a recent wonderful stay and great golfing at Mission Inn, Howey in the Hills, Florida. When we could not find my golfing friend’s reservation , Donna ( front desk ) found out that my golfing friend had reserved by mistake on the internet the Mission Inn in California NOT Florida and had placed a deposit at the wrong hotel. . Donna at the front desk was extremely helpful as she called the other Mission Inn in California and corrected the mistake and refunded the deposit . Donna went above and beyond and was super helpful Thanks

The Mission Inn Resort was a great location for our friends daughter wedding. Everything we needed was right on sight-golf, spa, restaurants, bar and of course the wedding. The rooms Were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the staff the best, especially John the shuttle driver, Rob the desk worker and Mindy the waitress at Nickers!!!

My son and Iplayed a round of golf on El Campion yesterday July 2, 2023. As usual, it was a little busy. Pace of play was perfect, as we only had a coupla times where we waited to hit. The staff keeps it moving. The course is a delight. Greens and fairways manicured, and rough a bit too high. Better keep it in the fairway… Hot as the dickens, but the elevation of the holes makes for a constant breeze. The employees treat everyone like a member. They are nice as can be.
We’ll be back.
