My husband and I went to our friend’s wedding, The Lugo’s. It was a gorgeous venue, great food, bar tenders were friendly. An all around wonderful wedding! If I had to suggest one item, the parking for a Honda accord, off road, was a little rough.

The Mission Inn Resort was a great location for our friends daughter wedding. Everything we needed was right on sight-golf, spa, restaurants, bar and of course the wedding. The rooms Were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the staff the best, especially John the shuttle driver, Rob the desk worker and Mindy the waitress at Nickers!!!

We were attending a relative's wedding and expected an "elite" experience at a comprehensive resort. Overall, we were very disappointed. The golf was good, the food was good, and the service in the dining room was superb. However, the rooms were poorly equipped and dated. The service from the front desk staff was not at all welcoming and very inefficient. Housekeeping ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign twice and woke my wife up. They said they had no idea that we had a late check-out (something we discussed with the inefficient front desk staff). We were told that we had to pay a $100 security deposit that would be returned to us upon check-out. We checked out 2 days ago and still have not received our money back. But, we did get an extra charge of $17.17 that was unexplained. The resort is massive and getting around it was a bit of a pain. The "special reduced price" of close to $300 per night was ridiculous. We have stayed at low-end Marriott properties that had better rooms and much better service at more than half the price. Although the fitness center was well-equipped, find it was like a treasure hunt. Also, having only 1 fitness center for such an enormous property is not a good idea. We will never go back to Mission Inn!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, Randy! We sincerely apologize for the disturbance from Housekeeping. We have forwarded your concern to the team to look into. From our records, it looks like the $17.17 that was charged to your credit card was something purchased at our Front Desk, and the card was physically swiped on our credit card reader. Our $100 incidental charge can take 3-5 business days to fall off, so please stay tuned and check in the upcoming days for this to clear. As we understand our resort is quite large, we do offer complimentary shuttles that will bring our guests over to the golf side and also pick up as well. We ask to please call the Front Desk for this service and they will page a Bellman for assistance. We also are looking forward to refreshing our rooms in the future. Once again we sincerely apologize and we thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We hope to see you again soon.

The resort must have been great when it opened and for the next 20 or so years. Sadly, it is now very tired in need of major reconstructive repair. When you walk in the lobby you are greeted by a strong chemical smell. The rooms have a very similar smell, not good. Each room has a separate a/c unit that is very near the bed, loud and pretty much runs all of the time. No refrigerator in the rooms, this costs extra and appears to be placed on a cart outside your room. The entire property has a vintage feel and not in a good way. Service at the restaurants is below average. Beware, the pictures of this place look pretty good, not so much in reality. In summary, a 2 star property that comes with 3.5 star prices.

We stayed at Mission Inn 3 nights and played both golf courses. The gentlemen running the courses are very friendly, as well as are the snack cart girls and the hotel staff in general. We ate at La Margarita’s on two occasions, and our servers Sidney and Matthew were fantastic. The food was pretty tasty — met our expectations. Our room faced the 5th tee of the El Campeon course. The room was slightly older but very clean and well appointed, spacious. The courses were in fine shape — fun to play! Only two knocks against our stay. 1. The mattresses desperately need replaced. Ours was far too soft — really awful to be honest. The other issue was we went to Nicker’s after golf on day 2 at 3:25pm. There weren’t but a few tables taken. The hostess sat us immediately and gave us menus. There were two servers nearby clearing and resetting tables, tending to one table of patrons right next to us; however, for 15 minutes we sat there completely ignored. It was like we were invisible. The one older, slight man with a beard lazily cleared the table not 5 feet away, totally ignored us. The young woman server with braids was not 6 inches away from us as she asked the table next to us if they wanted dessert. No one said “someone will be right with you” or brought us water — nothing. So we just ended up leaving and went to La Margarita’s at 4pm, which was night and day a different experience. I hadn’t played the course since 1991, so it was nostalgic, and my husband and I had a great time golfing. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Don’t miss that. You can get anything made fresh (pancakes, waffles, eggs, omelets) plus a plethora of fruits (blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, etc), all the meats, breads, buns, and more. The gold and the breakfast buffet were the highlights for sure. As mentioned before, but for the servers at Nicker’s, the entire staff was, to a person, efficient, friendly and welcoming!

Beautiful NYE stay. Played a round in Las Calinas when we arrived then went to Knickers for dinner. Knickers was good but bleu chips chips were burnt. Checked in and hit the room to get ready. Liked the patio was enclosed. Beautiful grounds to walk around with your companion. Such a quiet facility. Beds were comfortable. Brunch was heavy with all the options. Can see us returning.

My husband and I took a friend of ours from England for Sunday brunch. We haven’t visited for a year and we noticed some changes. The Hacienda restaurant looks very tired and dated. The chairs at our table were worn with torn seat covers. The buffet seemed less fresh and with fewer choices. The service was good however. I’m not sure we will return anytime soon given the price of the buffet versus the dated ambience.

The two golf courses are great, part of the reason we stayed at Mission Inn. Exterior looks a little tired, but room furniture has been upgraded. September Magical dining was the other reason we stayed. The food was good, but the restaurant was far too cold. The staff apologised but said that it was controlled elsewhere and they had reported it.

My first impression from the outside was impressive, but when walking into the lobby I notice a smell of old stale carpet and interior. The room was unimpressive as well, old, stained tubs, no walk-in showers. The screened patio was so hot from the A.C blowing out its air that you couldn't sit out there in the summer. The club house was the same, old including the stained chairs we sat in. Could have had better food at Subway. I guess their chief is used to serving brown avocados on a salad. If you are going to have cloth napkins, please make sure they don't smell like 10 years old napkins. Pro shop, the A.C must have been out, and to think all those cloths were just absorbing it the moisture, we actually had to walk out. I realize summer is there off season, but why not take that time to replace all of the old with new at that time, people are not live on the grounds, there living inside. Pool and course looked attractive, but that was it . It's all about the Maintenace, and it should have been maintained. Being from Florida I'm well aware of the climate, that's not an excuse .
