When I checked in I was overwhelmed by the size of the property. But I was quickly won over by the staff. I have traveled extensively and have stayed in 5 star hotels. The staff was so accommodating and very professional. They really know how to treat their guests. I highly recommend this hotel.
My family and I visited Margaritaville Hollywood from 8/2 to 8/9. We originally were checking out 8/7 but extended our stay 2 additional days. Not sure where to start. Let's start at arrival. From the moment we pulled up to the front of the hotel, the service exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none. The bellhop was extremely helpful and polite. The security guard, Michael from Staten Island greeted us and made sure to get the door. He obliged to my family's photo in front of the blown out flip flop and pop top. Adam at front desk checked us in, provided us with all essential info, explained wifi, explained how to utilize QR code for layout of the property, restaurants times, pool hours etc. Check-in was very smooth and easy. Any time any item was needed, they went above and beyond. At midnight on one of the days, my wife called the front desk because her allergies flared up. She asked if they had any antihistamines. Odel indicated the story(closed at 6pm) had some. He said he would open the store and we could take care of payment in the morning. Who does that??? There was a misunderstanding at Landshark about my daughter ordering Landshark Wings but Landshark burger was brought. Within 5 minutes, wings were brought. Mistakes happen, it is how the hotel handles it. Margaritaville handled everything with class and professionalism. With Covid and Hollywood being hotspot, the hotel went above and beyond to do their best to insure guests do not have to touch doors, handles, etc. Sanitizer us everywhere and they provide Margaritaville masks. I can't remember the young lady's name that serviced the lone palm pool area. My wife and I are not dark rum fans so we asked the first time to sub it out with white rum. We only asked once. She remembered the rest of the week. It is the small details that go along way. All of the employees were very pleasant, willing to go the extra mile. This vacation was by far our favorite. We have been to Hawaii, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, various hotels around the country. Margaritaville Hollywood hands down beats them in service. Thank you so much for a memorable vacation. We will be back for my fortieth in September.…
Had a few friends visiting from Maryland, staying at Margaritaville, we decided stay in and have dinner at JWB. Best decision we made considering they are several restaurant in walking distance from hotel. We were served by Anna-Kaye, who was attentive, no over bearing as in some case. Most of all She was pleasant, and very polite. Definitely inspired me and my family to return. FYI food was excellent. I can assure in Florida in many restaurants service is lacking and my visit here some how have renewed my confidence that good servers and service is not yet dead..Keep up the good work.
We have been coming here every year, sometimes twice, since 2016, except for 2020. It was another great Margaritaville experience. This was our 9th visit. We book direct and got a great upgrade to Ocean Front. We reserved 2 rooms this time for 5 of us. Four adults and 1 child. We arrived at 1:30 pm and 1 room was ready. We pre-booked cabanas for 4 of our 6 day stay. Rooms were clean, but are starting to look a little tired. Carpet needs a good cleaning, grout in shower could be refreshed and maybe a fresh paint job. I realize that they are just getting back to daily housekeeping. Our room was cleaned by 10 am except for Sunday. It was 5 pm and still not done. We met the housekeeper on our 16th floor and she was so overwhelmed. She had 10 checkouts to clean first. We’re easy and just asked her for clean towels, coffee and water. Not a big deal. I felt bad for her. Not her fault. Service at both Margaritaville Restaurant and Landshark was good. No waiting. Service At Cabanas was so so. They set us up quickly, giving us towels, water and ice but never came back to see if we needed more as the day went on. Not like in previous years. The best server ever for food and drink at cabana is Nat (Natalie). Please commend her. Also, please thank Stephen at front desk for getting my grandson a pencil so he could do the schoolwork he had to bring. I would also like to commend Holden for hooking us up with Charlie to drive us to the Everglades for our alligator boat tour. Charlie took care of everything. We only had one major issue on checkout. We had to check out at 6 am for our flight home. We had gift cards that needed to be applied to our final bill. The man in charge that early had no clue how to do that. Luckily there was another young man there who knew how to do it. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. Also my niece had requested a $150 gift card for my sister that needed to be deducted from our bill. My sister spoke to Holden and he promised it would be put as a credit on our room. Never happened. When we arrived home yesterday, my sister called Holden and requested he call her back. No response. I also emailed requesting a response and nothing so far. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly. All in all I still give Margaritaville 5 stars.…
I went for a 80 minute massaage. The massage was wonderful. I had to take off my earrings, which I wasn’t aware or I would not have worn them as they were expensive. Afterwards instead of putting them on I put them in the robe pocket. When I returned Back to where I was staying several hours later I realized I forgot my earrings. I immediately called the spa and spoke to the manager. She said that she searched the laundry but did not find them and turned it over to security. She tried to be helpful. Security then called and said they would go check the washers and dryers to see if anything was left on them and call me back … well I am still waiting for that phone call. I know it was my fault for leaving them in the robe but either they got lost in the laundry or a staff member found them and decided not to turn them in. Of that is the case. Shame on them. But I deserved a phone call back…
Beautiful lobby, clean, great food and drinks, lots of entertainment in multiple locations , beach chairs and umbrellas included. Staff is friendly. Location is close to lots of different types of restaurants. May it is not crowded at all
First of all, despite being quite a few years old, the resort is clean and well kept. We came for a staycation and had a great time. The resort is located on Hollywood Beach. Hollywood has a broad walk which is great for biking and walking. ( you can rent bikes at the resort). The resort is expensive and quite lux but the stores and restaurants on the broadwalk and most of A1A in this area are not. It is not South Beach. There are cheap (fun) souvenir shops and dive bars nearby. This means that you are not chained to the resort if you want cheap eats and drinks but also means that if you are into a resort like experience, you won’t want to walk outside of it. The staff was great. I did not run into anyone that was not friendly and helpful. Room was great. 3 pools are great (there is an adults only one on the 11th floor which is wonderful. Bathroom was horrible. Shower never got hot and water pressure was absolutely horrible. It had an open shower and a sliding barn door so it was cold in the bathroom and this, combine with the lack of hot water made for a miserable shower. This is worth mentioning because this place is not cheap. They are charging $500-600 for regular run of the house rooms right now. They charge a resort fee which gets you towels, beach chairs etc and also charge up to $39 a night for valet parking. These are not surprises because they tell you when you book. I found the valet parking charge very annoying because it literally took 25 minutes to pull my car around after checkout. At that rate, they can afford to hire more valets. The food at the resort was great. Be sure to wander across the street to check out the resort’s little tiki bar on the intracoastal..…
Visited the flow rider at Margaritaville again. Been there before and it's always fun but with Sarah and Bill running the show they have taken it to a whole new level. Fun and organized with great attention to each rider helping them pick it up quickly and get the most out of their time. Kudos!
We stayed here for four nights starting April 26. We had a great time. Our room was beach front so we had a fantastic view of the beaches and pools. Room was very clean, beds comfy, food excellent. VERY family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel/resort, stayed for one night after a cruise. The hotel is beautiful and clean. the drinks at the bar were disgustingly expensive in a small plastic cup ($15). Beer was alright, staff very kind and courteous. Outside amenities were very nice and the location on the boardwalk were great. But to pay almost $600 for a room per night, not acceptable. Absolutely no water pressure in the sinks and in the shower, dribble of water.
