A few communication speed bumps after checking in early. There was a delay in getting luggage to the rooms when the rooms became available but the “Bell staff” got right on it when it was brought to their attention. The WiFi password wasn’t shared until the second day on property. Valet parking staff was welcoming, prompt and pleasant every time we received both cars and returned them. The food on site was resort priced (more expensive than expected but not surprising) but was actually pretty enjoyable. The Caribbean chicken salad at the land shark was disappointing and not up to the menu description. The staff removed one order from the bill. Pool service and bar staff were friendly, welcoming and wait times were minimal from taking order to delivery. The property was clean and appeared well maintained, rooms and amenities in them were comfortable. There was maintenance being performed on the balcony of our one room and no communication that there would be people entering the room. Was an unpleasant surprise when the young ladies staying with us returned to the room from the pool and found guys in the room with the door closed. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk manager he made a sincere apology for the lack of planning and communication regarding this and extended a very nice courtesy to the room, without needing to be prompted. Suggestions for a family resort, maybe add a playground for kids and electric outlets around the pool patios would be a nice touch. We were there and booked under the 4th year anniversary celebration terms which included free valet parking and $75.00 per room per day room credit which helped with the cost significantly. Would definitely look for discount packages in the future and return.

Visited several days ago. For the most part, the resort was clean and maintained. The different pools provided different experiences which was nice. The beach got crowded due to the fact that it is public. It was difficult to maintain the required social distancing. Our heads were constantly on a swivel to make certain others were not on top of us. The staff did not maintain their policy around social distancing in the pools, hot tub and bar areas. The restaurant tables were spaced appropriately but we mostly had our food delivered and ate on our balcony or lobby due to the crowds. The pools were definitely understaffed for poolside drink and food service. In fact, we ordered a meal at 12:15 one day and it was delivered at 2:30. We informed the staff we already ate snacks we had in our room and refused the meal (which at that point was cold anyway). In short, if you are conscious of social distancing, the resort is not up to par but I would suggest that no resorts in the Florida area would be up to par. Barring Covid, The location was fine. A few blocks in either direction on the boardwalk takes you to areas we did not feel comfortable traversing. All in all, I would recommend the resort, as long as they hire 2 to 4 more pool attendees to assist their guests and if you plan to stay primarily on the resort.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and from the minute we arrived we were very impressed by the resort. It is beautifully decorated. All the staff we encountered including the front desk, the bellmen, and the restaurant servers were all very nice and helpful. We had a partial ocean view room on the 17th floor and the view from the balcony was amazing (we could see the ocean and also the coast on the other side). There’s 2 pools on the ground that get kind of busy in the afternoon so it was really nice to be able to go up to the adult only pool on the 11th floor for quiet vibes. You get 2 beach lounge chairs and an umbrella per room and the beach guys set it up for you. We ate at the steak house on the resort 1 night and it was pricey but delicious. There’s also tones of restaurants along the boardwalk right outside the resort with all different types of food which was convenient. My only complaint about the hotel was that I wish they gave people age 21 and over and special color wrist band so that I didn’t have to constantly carry my drivers license with me to the bars while I’m in and out of the pool. Overall, this resort was absolutely amazing, and we would go back!!

The staff was very friendly especially the people working at the beach. We also found the food good at all of the restaurants. The carpeting in the room we stayed (1213) was very worn and stained. Surprising for the age of the hotel. We stayed seven nights and we're told we would only have maid service every third day. This was super inconvenient and it also did not reduce the price of the room. If maid service only shows up every 3 days you should at least stock the room with essentials. We had to constantly be calling for coffee clean towels and kleenex. This was very inconvenient as we had to then wait for someone to come to our room with the supplies we needed. You should at least be given an option to have every day room service. We were both fully vaccinated and not concerned about covid conditions. On the third day when we assumed the maid would be coming we left all of our dirty towels on the floor by the door. We came back to our room later in the day the dirty towels were still there the coffee was not restocked and the garbage was not emptied. it looks like all she did was make the bed. There was zero entertainment which was disappointing. The JWB steakhouse was extremely expensive. You pay extra for the salad the potato and the steak so in our calculation we determined we could save our $300 and go down the street and have a nice Italian dinner for far less which is what we did. I guess when you pay almost $3,000 for a week's day you expect more. I know we did.

My husband and I spent four nights here with a Large group of business associates. We enjoyed our stay here. The staff seemed quite friendly and I was greeted with a hello from time to time. The hotel is a nice size. It isn’t huge but it also is large enough to enjoy different atmospheres if you wanted. The pools are really nice and clean. Our room was 1110 on the 11th floor and the patio walked out to the pool and bar. The location was nice but my room didn’t have a view of the water unless you looked over the patios to your right. If I stayed again I would choose a different room. That floor would be ok but that rooms view isn’t the best. If you wanted near the pool and bar and didn’t care for a view then this room would be great for you! The interior was decorated nicely with the beach themes and the colors also. The mini fridge kept drinks cold and the room had a small coffee pot which was replenished if asked to do so. Due to covid our room wasn’t cleaned but the maids did check to see if we needed linens and such. The main areas of the hotel are in the Jimmy Buffet theme decor. The lobby ceiling has drink glasses hanging from it as lights and is very unique. Jimmys flip flop in the lobby is huge and a spot where everyone gets a picture. We generally went to the beach and all but one day we were able to get a beach umbrella and that was our fault as it was noon before we got out that day. The process for chairs are quite easy you get your band and towels from the pool hut and at the beach they see your band and will set you up a chairs and umbrella. You do need your band for the pool and your room key to access the area. The elevator also requires your key to go up to your room but not to go down. We ate at the restaurants on site and for hotel restaurants they were good. Very pricey but good. We had a couple of Private company dinners with The rest of the group at the Margaritaville upstairs and another private dining on the 9th floor and and the food wasn’t as good as the regular restaurants there. There are other food places nearby if you wish to not eat onsite that you can walk to. All in all we enjoyed our stay. As far as recommending it yes it is a great place if you want to spend the extra bucks to go and experience it. But to return I don’t know if it would be worth the extra $$ to come again.

This hotel has three very nice pool areas with bars at each. Being on the beach, two beach chairs and umbrella or cabana are included in the room charge per night. And, you guessed it, bar service on the beach. It would be easy to go in debt on alcohol alone as everything can be charged to your room - $8-10 per drink would add up quickly. They do an extra charge approval for $500 for incidentals. We were under the impression that there would be no maid service but we could have towels etc. brought to our room as needed. They do not have door hangers to request or decline room service. On the third day, maid service entered our room without our request - we usually remove major electronics and personal items of importance if we ask for service. The bathroom was quite large and the room very clean. The staff was very nice, but I felt uncomfortable with the constant need to tip everyone. There are very good restaurants nearby but check out their menus first for prices. The security is excellent at this site.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff are friendly. They are giving a package where you get 100 a day in food credit but literally only a coffee shop and one restaurant are open during the week! The pool is freezing and they refuse to turn the heat on. There is no cleaning of the rooms due to Covid so be prepared to clean your own room yet pay the same rate. They gave us a coupon for two margaritas and the website says for a “specialty margarita” yet we were told it was for a house margarita. It is clear they are skimping on amenities but charging the same high price. Disappointing.

The staff at this hotel were all pleasant and attentive throughout our 4 night stay. I had originally booked an oceanfront suite for 6 of us. A week before our arrival my travel agent called to tell me the suite would not be available due to remodeling not being finished. They moved me to 2 oceanfront adjoining rooms and another partial ocean view room just across the hall. The adjoining rooms had their own small corridor behind a door that separated the two rooms from the main hallway. Then there were individual doors off the corridor which added privacy to the rooms. My 16 and 18 year old boys loved having their own room. One night we had a problem with the corridor door not operating due to a dead battery. Staff was notified and 2 different people showed up within 5-10 minutes and had it fixed right away. The view from the rooms were spectacular and on one night there was a band in the bandshell on the beach we could hear from our balconey while having a cocktail. The resort offers enough pools and amenities to keep evryone busy, Special shout out to Richie Rich at the Florider for teaching my son how to wake board. we ate at a couple of the restaurants onsite and everyone enjoyed their food. Security seemed to be visable all the time so safety should not be a concern.

We went for four nights for a sisters getaway. We felt very safe at the hotel. Spent most of our time at 11th floor pool with wonderful service. Juan Tim, and Rem were fantastic at taking care of us. They set us up every day with chairs ,towels ,umbrellas and always there to serve us food and drinks The hotel was not crowded and restaurants are not open as long as usual but we managed to always get a good meal. They had all the tables in the restaurants and umbrellas and chairs at the beach very spread apart. They were definitely on top of the social distancing and policing that people were wearing masks as they walk through the property

This is an amazing place with a ton of entertaining options for everyone. For families with kids to adults who just want to get away this place is sure to please. For the families they have 2 great pools with a slide and a flow rider. For the adults they have the license to chill bar which is an amazing rooftop pool/bar area with the best views of the clear blue ocean located on the 11th floor. This is where we spent most of our days with the resorts best bartender Dave! Great drinks with even better service...Thank you Dave! You really are the best! We had several guest who all had different room categories and all of the rooms were nice. The ocean side rooms are great but even the Intracoastal rooms offered a great view as well. The restaurants were all good but our favorites were Landsharks and 5 o'clock somewhere. Landsharks was a great place to watch the bands from the Hollywood beach bandshell and people watch. They also served the best wings ever...highly recommend. The broadwalk and beach were also great places to hang out and enjoy the day. The parasailing and jetski options you can find from the broadwalk next to the marriott. They also offer free bike rentals and cabana rentals with a charge from the beach. You will also find a towel /card exchange program where you are given cards each day to exchange for fresh towels while you are at the pools or beach. Just make sure you return the towels or you will be charged for the ones not turned in at the end of each day. That station is located just outside of the main lobby across from the pools. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this as a pre-cruise or stand alone vacay! Enjoy

Yes - access to the hotel poos is included for guests. Make sure to get your wristband from the front desk at checkin. Thos without wristbands are denied access to the pools.
There are more places to choose from in the Hollywood area.
