Don’t waste your time here. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 When you call to get amenities sent to your room ( no room cleaning for long term stays due to COVID-19) because that’s what they say to do. Nothing delivered for over 4 hours until we left room. This happened multiple days and then the amenities sent weren’t even the right ones. Thank god for the very nice housekeeping ladies who were always ready to help. No room upgrade like they said when booking room!!!! Also the casino TERRIBLE !!!!! Will never return to this Hard Rock !!!!!!
I’ve done a review on the casino and now here is my review on the hotel’s room. Check in was very smooth, and I was informed by the front desk clerk that housekeeping was not available because if COVID19 but if I needed anything to call and it would be done. Before I knew it, I was on my way to my room. My room was located in the original building/ hotel. Prior to entering the elevator area, there is a security guard who will ask you for your key so he can scan it only to make sure that you are a guest of the hotel. Once that was done, I took the elevator up to the 10th floor(room 31071). I had requested a pool view room and my request was granted. The room provided a south view, looking down in the horizon to downtown Miami. Looking straight down was the pool area. My room was angle in such that if I looked west, I had a clear view of the sunset. Upon entering the room, you enter into a big vestibule leading straight down to the room. My room had a king size bed, with HardRock specialty sheets. On the night table was your lamp, and an electric clock with all kinds of plugs. Room is equipped with a nice size closet, a refrigerator and a coffee maker with coffees and teas. The TV screen was quite wide and hanging on the wall. The desk provided with a comfortable office type chair and again all kinds of plugs. 2 sinks in the bathroom and a huge tub/ shower. The bathroom amenities are from HardRock. Room was very clean and most important very comfortable. A must stay. …
I am writing this review even as we are still in hotel . Our room is nice and very clean . Our first room had the blue seal across it indicating it was safe and sanitized but when we opened door we knew a mistake had been made as the room hadn’t been cleaned from previous guest . Mistakes happen ... so back down to the Lobby we went ... to stand in line again ... 2 desk clerks for a very long line . We were reassigned to another room after she had her manager check to see if that room really was incorrectly marked as ready ( like who would ever make this up when you have to carry all your luggage through parking garage around to hotel through two elevators and up nine floors !). She apologized but it wasn’t the best start . It’s not like this is a low end budget hotel ... we had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and I ended up physically moving our table as we were most definitely NOT six feet from the other two tables . The back of my chair was less than 1 1/2 feet from the next table . There is a sign saying that your temp will be taken when entering building but we exited and entered 3-4 times and while there is someone standing there they most def did not take anyone’s temps . The number of people wearing masks only covering mouth or on their chin was alarming and we ended up not feeling safe and retired to our room at 800 pm because we did not feel safe at all . The slogan on safe and clean is catchy but it is NOT being practiced . There was no soap in the ladies restroom and if it is being cleaned every 30 minutes , wouldn’t the soap be checked and refilled ? I am disappointed as I had wanted to stay here the past few years and now feel like it was a waste of money :(…
Really loved the vibe and atmosphere of hotel. Mask were required throughout property. Temperature checks at entrance were available but not clear if taken?? Rooms were nice and modern. Casino was too smoky for me although there is a non-smoking area. I didn’t like having to walk through casino areas with kids to get to rooms, etc. pool access at this site was limited - closed on days we stayed but available at connecting guitar hotel. Same for gym. Pool at guitar was nice but finding chairs may be a challenge since hotel was busy and no reservations taken for pool. Food service at pool was nice and quick. Overall nice stay but would stay at guitar to avoid walks thru property. Felt relatively safe staying at this hotel.
Traveled in December with my wife and 21 yr old daughter. Our room was very large and had an enormous bathroom. However the view was horrible and it overlooked the top level of the parking structure. Casino has a nice food court with many selections of different restaurants. Beware, the smoking section of the casino is filled with smoke while the non smoking section still has smoke in the air. Great memorabilia and decor throughout. The pool is awesome as well!
