This trip was amazing. The only issues I had were that housekeeping didn't vacuum the floor because my suitcase was left in the corner of the room. Also the facility did not have a generator for power outages. I feel like as a property in a hurricane zone this should never be.
We stayed at this facility before and after our cruise. We flew into Fort Lauderdale Airport and needed a facility with an airport shuttle. This facility is about 10 minutes from the airport and has a free shuttle that will pick up from the airport until 1AM. The driver was prompt and easily returned us to the hotel. Accommodations were fine and in line with other Hampton Inns. With our arrival, we had a private service to take us from the hotel to Miami cruise terminal. On our return, we had a rental van to enjoy the area for the day prior to our flight. There are several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There is also shopping immediately across the road from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would go back if travels takes us back through Fort Lauderdale.…
Room is very dated, small. Friendly check in employee was memorable. She thanked me for being a Hilton Honors member. Breakfast was good. Bed slept comfortably. Bathroom was clean. Carpet was somewhat gross.
Family of 4 in a suite. Major water leak over one of the beds forced 2 family members to sleep on pullout sofa. Hotel staff was excellent and made it right for our inconvenience. Kudos to staff and would stay at property again in a dry room
Very average. Rooms are very dated, but the overall value brings up the rating a bit. If you’re value conscious, it’s good. However, I would spend more to get a better location and overall experience.
