I checked in a bit early and got assigned a room on the 5th floor that had no view. I went and looked at the room and heard the trash compactor from the next building and decided to go back to the front desk and see what could be done... He went above and beyond and got me into a great room...

Dirty room; spotted, frayed carpet; stained curtains; bathroom door warped so would not shut; only one sink even though two people with two beds; sink faucet a foot in air and extending over sink so you can't wash your face without hitting your forehead on the faucet; coffee pot broken and not supplied; room not cleaned or supplied between nights (one bath towel per person for two nights); pool not heated; jacuzzi by pool not working; valet staff rude... I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone...

This is the worst double tree I have stayed at... And yes, that also means that they still claim they don't make your room because of the pandemic...

Will not be staying there moving forward, oh and the app doesn’t work couldn’t use my iPhone 13 pro(it’s a real thing) as a room key...

Not what I expected for the price and the Doubletree brand... The overall experience was similar to a budget hotel (e.g... We didn’t even get cookies upon check-in (lol)...

This was my worst experience at any hotel checking in. I was asked to pay $25 extra for early check-in... I agreed the room was horrible I came down I said no thank you they made me wait four hours... There was the valet who was very professional besides that stay someplace else...

Stopped at bar and it was well worth it...

...If you eat at the restaurant, budget for a very long wait and a very large bill. A 20% gratuity is added to each check "for your convenience" but it most certainly inspired the apathy by the staff since they were getting paid and did not have to work for it like most in the service industry that rely on performance for gratuity... And, closely check your tab at the bar since the exact same drink price will fluctuate from hour to hour and this was not during happy hour... They charge a $30 daily resort fee but that was easy to side-step apparently because all kinds of people just came in and used the pool...

Valet parking only, and the Valet staff was nice most of the time... This hotel is a true lie and disrespect, and if you are not attentive, they charge you extra charges... It is disrespectful that this place belongs to a corporation as prestigious as the Hilton...

Hotel had issues with water one day and did not compensate us fairly. They offered us 3000 Hilton points as a compensation however this is literally nothing when it comes to hotel points... They tried to give us a discount on additional night and only discounted us $50 to not have running water means no bathroom toilets sinks for an entire day... They should have given us a full days refund for the room that we were staying in which was around $400 we argued with the front desk and they were not cooperative... I would avoid Hilton and stay at a Marriott who has compensated us fully in the past for similar issues...

This gem is located at Hallandale Beach... You do need to watch the resort fees and valet parking as there add up to make this a rather pricey stay...

We went back to the Port South for breakfast the next day, and it was a totally different experience after meeting Jackie our waitress... She was super attentive, super helpful, a lovely person and the complete opposite of the experience we had the day before at lunch with the other people that work there...

The lady who answered, Sandra Dee, was so helpful and came right over to get me in, picking up both me and the bike in the process... I was able to get back probably sooner than if I had biked, and appreciated her dedication to her guests and her willingness to drop everything to help me out... We also kept the rental time within an hour, so no extra charges for the bike!...

...It took 3 complaints and two different Maintenance attempts. Maintenance team was very nice and did what they could, but with no resolve... The hotel manager never introduced himself to me after three documented complaints, never apologized, and when I finally got a new room after demanding a new room, it was a nice maintenance man who delivered it to me instead of the manager...

Our first stay to Hollywood, FL was pleasant... The hotel staff (front desk and restaurant hostess) were excellent... Housekeeping needed some work as there were a few issues with the level of service... We had a shower drain issue for several days which wasn’t fixed but the maintenance staff came to our room on two different occasions to address the issue... Upon checkout, the front desk staff did ask if we had encountered any issues which I did address... All in all, we had a great stay to the area but I do not think we would stay at this location again just due to oversight in hotel operations and customer feedback follow up...

Stayed at Doubletree Hollywood Beach in a spacious 2queen room... The pool was the best part of the hotel... It is right on the waterways and the boats go by out to the ocean... The pool bar was only open on the weekends... The drinks were good and the DJ was good... You can't take your own drinks to the pool there is an attendant to check your bag... There is a restaurant right by the pool where you can order drinks or food when the pool bar is closed... The beach access is across the street not hard to get to and there is an attendant there for your chairs and umbrella... We walked to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk up the beach... The location is not a far street walk to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk to the Margaritaville stage to watch the night shows... We are walkers but there is a circuit shuttle golf cars you could call or a cheap Lyft...
