Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the HOBE Lofts for 3 nights in early August, before we drove down to the Keys. It is only about 20 minutes from the Ft Lauderdale airport, and includes parking, which is priceless! Eyvonne made our arrival very easy, and we were at the beautiful beach within a half hour of arrival. You can just walk a partial block and plop right down in the sand, and the clear water was perfect. The wide brick broadwalk will keep you occupied and is great for people watching. There are all kinds of small shops, and pizza and ice cream places galore, right there. We found some neat restaurants down at the end of the street, on the intracoastal, and the water taxi is there too. The Hollywood outdoor theater is a stone's throw away, and we really enjoyed the free concerts in the evenings. The lofts are cool, with the bedroom upstairs, and a nice sitting area and small kitchen. Plenty of storage, and I can imagine how easy it would be to stay a week or a month. Everything we needed was available, and very clean. The air conditioning worked great, too. For the price, this place can't be beat!

For what they charge, this place really isn't worth the money. While they give you a parking pass, we had to park 3 streets away. So if you go any farther than walking distance, it's a crap shoot as to where you can park. Wasn't even a holiday weekend or any thing. The television is Roku only, and that's if the bandwidth usage is low enough to stream. While very clean, well appointed and comfortable, the loft is TINY. Again, exorbitant rates for what you get.

Do not stay here!!! They sold me a parking pass for $50 and when I got there they didn't have it. They said that I would have to pay for daily parking which came to $4 an hour 24 hours a day for 5 days. Almost $400. I called and asked multiple times for the parking pass but they said I was out of luck. There are multiple reviews about this parking scam. They ruined my entire vacation. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Beware of this place. And it's location is drug infested...

Step out from the Broadwalk and spend the day settled on white sands, by a glistening ocean on one of South Florida’s most beautiful beaches. Still, the most popular pastime on the beach is simply savoring the charming character of this truly unique setting, so reserve a day for relaxing to the sound of soothing waves.

We chose HoBe Lofts as a temporary place to stay on the beach in Hollywood while we searched for a house. We intended to stay only a couple weeks to a month. Our choice was based on the unique layout of the apartments: a living room, kitchen and bathroom below, and a loft/bedroom upstairs. Every room feels like your own private bungalow. It's mere steps to the beach itself. As soon as we saw the room, we had to book it. The apartments feel way more spacious than they actually are. And they are the most unique rooms anywhere on the beach.
Well, guess how much we loved it? Our short, temporary stay turned into a year and one month! We could not bring ourselves to leave. It's so quiet and peaceful. The veranda out front is a perfect outdoor living room. There's a gas grill for guest use. Everything about living here in HoBe Lofts and at the beach has been that perfect paradise experience we all dream about.
The owner, Eyvonne, is incredibly responsive to every guest's needs. She is cheerful and very easy to deal with in every way. There are new office people/ building managers, AJ and Jumella, who are incredible people, very friendly, and will respond day or night to anything you might need.
I can't recommend HoBe Lofts highly enough. Not only is the place itself incredibly unique and beautiful, but what really makes it 5 stars are the people who ensure your experience is perfect: Eyvonne, AJ, and Jumella.
We are saddened to leave, but finally require the kind of space that a house and yard can provide.
I am grateful for the experience of staying at HoBe Lofts, and I give it my highest recommendation!

Before we arrived ,I misunderstood that parking is not included. I asked a public parking attendant for info. Save yourself a headache, ignore the in house instructions to get parking and go to Hollywood City Hall, Mon-Thurs and get a parking pass for $117.70. They don’t take Discover.
Door code will not be emailed til one minute after check in time. To light up the key pad you must press the mfg insignia on the box. I had to call in to find this info.
There is no instruction manual in the unit. They failed to mention that it would NOT be in the tv cabinet! So there are no rules or instructions to follow. I called again because I thought it would explain why the tv didn’t work.
The tv is Roku. I don’t have an account so local channels weren’t available to us. Nor did the tv work. It would show a free movie for 3 min. then shut off.
There is no dvd player! After 4 maintenance visits, they brought a replacement tv on Tuesday.
The space is very small, as shown in the pictures. It’s nicely decorated but the stuff sitting around isn’t necessary & takes up the space a traveler needs.
There is no closet…just a small clothing rack. I couldn’t unpack.
There is a 2 burner cook top but we couldn’t get it hot enough to boil water for pasta. Had to microwave it.
They provide 2 bath towels & 2 washcloths.
There is a smoke alarm. Unfortunately ours decided to start chirping at 1 am, on Monday, because the battery needed replacement. This fiasco was fixed on Tues when they brought the new tv, but only the battery was replaced. By Thurs. they had to bring a new smoke alarm unit because it wouldn’t stop chirping. The smoke alarm is hung on the outside wall, 6’ above the top of the door. I was ready to throw shoes at it! Try listening to a chirp for 12 hrs. on vacation!
To sum this up, I spent a whole week, on the porch, making calls and waiting for maintenance to show up instead of relaxing on the beach.
I was offered a 10% refund from booking dot com because they knew this was a terrible week. I paid $1235 for the week and got a $100 credit. They can’t even do math!
