Don't be fooled by the old pictures shown on Expedia and other booking sites. The reality was a giant slap in the face and we were not the only ones feeling that way. The entire resort is completely rundown, dirty and unsafe. The carpets are stained (vomit and the likes), the hallways reek of piss smell, pot and antiseptics combined. Old dirty clothes were strewn in the hallway for days. The bathtub was old and peeling and clogging the drain. The door doesn't lock properly so we had to carry our valuables every day and sleep with an eye open every night. The bedsheets and the towels were stained and icing on the cake, the cleaning crew left an old condom and wrapper under the bed. The neighbors who seem to live there, were fighting every night and smoking pot which seeped into our room then waking us up to their loud music early morning. Don't book this place. You're guaranteed to regret it!

Just got back from booking a room through Airbnb. Don’t be fooled by the word resort - the building is run down, falling down, empty stores, and dirty. The carpets in the halls are stained, old and smelly. Halls smell like marijuana doy and night. “Security” sits behind a window and not much else. Homeless & drunk people hang around the entrance and security does nothing. The pool water was about 6 inches below where it should be. Kids pool, hot tub and gym all shut down. Pictures posted are very outdated and misleading. Pretty much used this place to sleep - left everyday. Our room was clean and updated - only saving thing

I booked November for #433 with AirBNB. Owners name is Matti. The walls were moldy and dramatically so in the bathroom. I left within the hour and in dispute with AirBNB since. Beware. Apparently AirBNB does not monitor for quality of the hosts. The owner denied any problem even though I provided pictures and I have a witness. If this room is moldy, this easily can get into the walls of the whole place.

This place has been so bad for so long. Everytime my friends and I visit the area we like to stop by and see how much worse it’s gotten. My friend lived there for 2 semesters of school and described it as hell on earth essentially. When I would visit there would always be homeless or drug addicted people hanging around. This place is a joke in the area. Everyone who knows it knows it sucks. Don’t rent here if you care about quality, safety, good price, or just about anything. But if you want a good laugh. Check it out!

We arrived at a property which was unsafe as well as dilapidated. The entry way had homeless people on the sidewalk. The rear exit to the beach had homeless people camped by the door. The lobby was a deserted basement with vacated retail storefronts. The checkin was in a protected cage as was the entrance to the elevators. We felt that the property was unsafe and left almost immediately after checking in. The mgr refused to refund our 1200.00 and we had to search for other lodging at 10:30 at night. This was a terrible experience for my family.

Booked an AirBnB and rented room 330 at this hotel from Anet. As soon as I checked in I checked out in less than an hour. The room was outdated and smelled like an old musky dirty motel room. Utensils were dirty, burn marks on the sink, stain on one of the blankets. Just a worn down room with updated bed sheets. The hallways and carpet was dirty. I been in historic buildings and you can update just fine without it being dirty and feeling like you in the projects. Lobby ceiling had water marks and holes in the ceiling. And the people staying there look sketchy too. Run from this place.

Booked through Airbnb. I expected the size of the room, which was fine. The view was pretty much the only thing good about this room. The shower curtain was dirty. The shower walls and ceiling had black mildew. I honestly wish I would’ve bought some Clorox bleach spray with me. This place was a old Mall-Tel. The bottom part of the hotel was an abandoned mall. Elevators and our floor smelled like old cigs and dirt. Only 2/3 elevators were working. There was also a lot of homeless people outside. Parking in the structure was $28/day. I would not stay here again.

The room and the amenities were super convenient!!..accommodating!! And conventional!!..I was on vacation!!..therefore the location was IDEAL the price was affordable And my overall experience was Open minded..I went with middle class funds and created memories of a lifetime..the Hotel is Historic!! Which is fascinating!! Such a shame for the rustic and sometimes eerie vibe..due to the abandoned areas however, I explored and was inspired to research its history....Anywho!!..suck it up Karen!! Youre on vacation..go live!!! Or harp on where u sleep for 30percent of ur cheap/afforadable and accomidating stay....I LOVEd iT!!!
