This place is a gem. A great homelike feel with a great host and a great view. It's clean and comfortable, and Paula really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as calm and relaxed as it can be. Sunsets on the west facing porch are a delight, and the lake is teeming with life. Highly recommend this place.
We were in the Robin's Nest (or "room") and had a super comfortable bed and a private deck overlooking the lake. We spent hours enjoying the lake from the covered dock in the rocking chairs and on the screened porch. The afternoon and evening was just what I wanted - time to read a book and then visit with my sister. Next morning before eggs benedict, I enjoyed a nice walk out to the main road, about a mile round trip, Paula tells me. Only one regret is that we didn't get out on the lake in the kayaks. Maybe I just needed the peaceful time sitting around more. This would be a great place for a retreat, as there is ample space for a group to gather and for break out discussions. Felt very safe during Covid times because of all the separate spaces to relax and to eat breakfast.…
Spent three days here with brother and son hunting gators. Paula could not have been more accommodating, in timing, lending things like extension cord to charge boat batteries, and so on. Very handy dock available at lakeside of house. Good parking. Good food. comfortable rooms. This place is a winner.
No shortage of Southern Hospitality here! Many a family memory has been created here for us over the years! Highly recommend!!! Miss Paula also offers weddings, rehearsal dinners and receptions here. If you are a road racer or rally driver, The Firm Raceway is only 15 minutes away.
Come as you are and get ready to relax and rejuvenate. Paula has crafted an oasis to rival anything found in Southern Living; loaded her B & B with local charm and true Florida hospitality. Hampton Lake is surrounded by deer, Guinea hens, wild bird life, cypress trees and breezes that will melt your stress away. Get ready to great food, honest, authentic, caring hospitality and wonderful reminders of what is important.
We could only stay one night, lovely location tucked away right next to the lake., Our room had a lovely deck that overlooked the lake Paula is a great hostess , cooks a wonderful breakfast. Will definitely be back next we are in Florida
What an incredible find! Great location, super comfy bed, delicious breakfast and abundant hospitality. All that and it is clean, clean, clean. We will certainly be back next time our schedules allow.
I have stayed at the B&B each week (except weekends) for the last three months on business. Paula, the owner, made my stays feel like home from day one. The accommodations were consistently clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Hampton Lake Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
Absolutely fabulous weekend. Beautiful location and accommodations. Paula the owner is fantastic. Every detail was taken care of. The breakfasts Saturday and Sunday were delicious! Paula also prepared our birthday luncheon for 22 people which was amazing and to top it off they made the most scrumptious, beautiful birthday cake for my dad. My out of state family were very impressed! We had such a great time being all together in one location and basically just our family. Could not have been more perfect. Everyone could retreat to their own room for privacy. Each room had it's own TV and large family room where we gathered and watch our MLB team make it to the World Series. It was like being in our own home. Highly recommend it and plan to go back again.
We had a wonderful time. Fishing, swimming and chillin out on the boat dock. The B&B is quaint and has great amenities. There are several spots to sit back and enjoy the view of the lake. The lake is crystal clear and the fishing is great. We enjoyed our little romantic getaway.
