This was like home away from home. Quiet, beautiful, and friendly hotel. The owner, Veronica and her staff were professional and helpful. Beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated rooms. Great WiFi connection. Loved the fruit variety during breakfast. The hotel is in a beautiful area and most restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Beautiful beach area within walking distance too. The food is amazing, compliments to chef Isabelle. The buffalo wings are to die for! Ample parking space at the hotel.

Last year we spent our anniversary at the Peninsula Inn and were looking forward to returning again this year. Our anniversary fell during the beginning of the Covid-19 warnings, but since we were on a "road trip" vacation, (rather than flying), and were familiar with the Inn, we decided to travel nonetheless. The Innkeepers were happy to see us, and perfectly accomodating inspite of the chaos all around us, making changes to seating (social distancing) throughout the inn, restaurant and bar. We know the hospitality industry is struggling during this period, but we can't help but hope everyone will support the Peninsula Inn - so we can go back next year again! Best wishes to Veronica, Tom, Allen and the staff...all the friendly people in Gulfport...and Jack!

We stayed for one night this past weekend. Our room, which was actually a small suite, was conveniently located on the second floor. Although the rooms were small, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included homemade scones! The location is excellent for walking. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Gulfport.

This is not like your chain hotel. This little place has character and personality. Sure our room was small, but it was big enough, cozy and comfortable. The furnishings were attractive and not institutional. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The downtown location invited you to get out and walk through the neighborhood and down to the beach. Delicious breakfast was included. Free parking on the street right in front of the inn was always available during our stay, and Free parking was also available in back. We did not use the the on site restaurant and bar, so I cannot comment on them. Not sure whether to call Peninsula Inn a small hotel or a big bed and breakfast. It was the best of both. If we return to this area, we will definitely try to stay here again.

We spent the first week of this year, 2020, at the beautiful Historic Peninsula Inn and it was one of the happiest times ever. In fact, we are planning to make it an annual tradition. Our suite was so delightful and comfortable, we loved our mornings taking breakfast on the porch, dinner at Isabelle's was always awesome, such wonderful food served by a very friendly staff. Veronica and her brother Thomas are perfect hosts and were very responsive to our needs and comfort. We love Gulfport and the Peninsula Inn, we highly recommend it and know you will love it too.
