While I attended the University of Florida in the mid-70s and have visited there many, many times to go see football games and basketball games, I never had a chance to stay at The Reitz Union Hotel. While down there last month for a meeting with the Dean of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I decided to give...

It's been a few years since my last visit and I was hoping some of my last experience would not be repeated. While they have invested some money in refreshing the rooms to bring the more up to date, be prepared for the incovenience of construction. My biggest complaint is the difficulty in getting from parking to the hotel elevators....

We stayed here for one night and I will admit to expecting more. We chose this hotel over a competitor due to the website boasting that each room had a balcony overlooking campus. This was true but due to renovations they were all restricted. I truly wish we had been told that ahead of time. As others have mentioned it...

This is an amazing hotel inside the student center building at UF, not a luxury hotel but extremely clean and comfortable, the best location when visiting our daughter at the University of Florida, easy access to the food court and the University's bookstore, in the heart of the Gator country, close to restaurants and shops,

This is THE place to stay if you need to be on the University of Florida campus for business or a Gators game. The guest rooms are on the fifth and sixth floors. My room was comfortable, but the door to the balcony was locked because the hotel is undergoing a renovation. Be forewarned: the hammering and drilling begins well...

We were there for the first time in Gainesville from Naples FL, exciting to get there for my son orientation in UF. Rooms are spacious, large clean bathroom. I like the accommodation because students are generous and everything is there in the building.

This is a hotel in the student center building at UF. It is clean and comfortable but not luxurious. But if you are coming to visit UF you are in the midst of it all and can walk to most major campus sights.

We stayed here with a group arriving by bicycle. Lacking secure bike storage, they helped us get our bikes into our rooms with the service elevator. The rooms were very dated, but comfortable and clean. The hotel is being renovated, so there is a great deal of noise and the balconies are locked. The breakfast was okay, but seriously lacking...

Very nice room! Confusing to find where to park and where to check in. Great place to stay if you are visiting the campus. Rooms are inside the student union. Also the book store is just down stairs and has a lot of nice merchandise.

Stayed at the Reitz Union while attending the UF vs. Miss. St. basketball game. Also to acclimate my children, ages 12 and 14, to the campus as it is their dream to attend college at the University of Florida. We found our stay to be awesome! Front Desk and all employees were super friendly and helpful. If you've stayed there...
