We arrived mid-week without reservations to a mostly empty, hassle-free campground. The sites vary in size, and we were offered several to check out and choose from (we tent camp primitive style). Crowding of bathrooms or showers wasn't a problem, but I could see where it could get tight on a busy weekend. June and Don were extremely accommodating, and... More

A very nice, clean campground. The game room is great for the kids, especially teenagers. While the women's bathroom was very nice and clean, there was only one stall and a small double sink. We visited Memorial day weekend and there was a line for the restroom almost every time. They do have a Porta potty available but it was... More

This place rocks... A few things to keep in mind while visiting Fort White... This is a quiet, small town. Properties such as this are intimate family owned places not big corporations. I like this area when it is not super busy, this area gets flooded with tourists wanting to go tubing in the summer! Everything closes early so plan... More

This is my favorite campground. We've been going at least once a year for the past 11 or so years. I remember it before the upgrades when Don Young ran it by himself. Large, spacious sites. None of the cement pads you see in a lot of campgrounds. This really is in the woods. Plenty of privacy. Nice game room,... More

We loved the place, great for a family or anyone who enjoys large wooded and clean campsites. The hosts were great. The bathroom and showers are clean, just not huge. We walked and biked to the springs (North entrance) many times,it's maybe a mile. We stayed 10 days in a camper. Wifi at the office, nice game room and sitting... More

I knew this wasn't on the river before going there, and it really wasn't a big deal to get to the river from the campground. In fact, it's quite conveniently close. Only two, unisex, shower stalls with rubber shower mats that slipped around on the goo under them. In a separate area, restrooms that you might find at a restaurant.... More

Campsites are some of the largest I've seen. Each site is full of mature hardwood trees, picnic table, fire ring, and aluminum can recycling container. I use a hammock tent for camping and this was an ideal place to tie up. Hosts are welcoming and do an excellent job of keeping the place clean. I also was surprised at the... More

Our family wanted to camp near Ichetucknee Springs for the weekend in order to tube the river. This campground is very close to the springs. There are 30+ sites, half for tents & half with water/electric. We camped in a travel trailer. All of the sites are plenty large, very wooded. They have a nice game room, a place to... More

It doesn't have a river!! You have to cross the main route and drive 10 min to go to the State park and pay at the entrance. Only 2 (two) bathrooms and 2 (two) showers for more than 17 sites!! Incredible delays. No garbage collection during the three nights that I spent there. Nice woods.

This place was awesome. Very woodsy for north florida. Campsite was very clean. Has wifi at the gameroom. Very family friendly. Super close to the gorgeous springs. The water was crystal clear, but 72 degrees. Chilly but it was very hot. We camped with a tent, just too hot in late june. Next time an RV. Will go back.
