Visited the Island with my friend’s and the experience was unmatched. Starting from the warm welcome from Lyn at the reception. To a beautiful water bungalow with amazing views. All the staff are friendly and the food is out of this world. The water sports are everything.

This resort was very reasonable priced, relaxing, and clean. It’s right next door the boardwalk with four great restaurants. It’s also not surrounded by 20 story condos. The fighter jet flybys every 30 minutes is really cool, and the DJ rocks!

This place really does give a resort feel. The rooms are fairly basic, but outside of that it’s great. Friendly staff. Lots of activities in different areas and right on the beach. It’s also within 5 minutes of the Destin Harborwalk and about 30 minutes from other beaches if you want to explore. Plenty of Dining options within walking distance. I’d recommend including Thursday thru Saturday. Those are the most active nights. Dive in movie on Thursday’s and Kareoke on Friday and Saturday. DJ Hysteria for Kareoke was amazing! Our family had so much fun and this completely made the vacation nights for my kids - night swimming and family friendly Kareoke that made the kids feel like they were at a real party! We still talk about it and they want to go back! It’s a great value for a family trip!

We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The 2 pools were nice, especially the heated pool. The grounds are beautiful. We ate breakfast every morning and it was a good selection. The only other food I had on site was nachos which were just ok. The room was the least expensive option but it got the job done, shower was hot and ac was cold. Beds were very comfy. The upgraded TV was a plus with chrome cast. The beach access is perfect, right by the boardwalk and pier. I did the evening rental for the umbrella and chairs to save some money and it was very convenient. I didn't have issues with parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Day 2 into the 10 day stay and I gotta say it’s a nice place, excellent staff and the drinks are great. The atmosphere makes you feel like. You are on a vacation despite the fact that I am here for work. Ten out of ten recommend you choose to stay here if you plan to visit this part of Florida.

The only reason that I gave two stars instead of one is because there is no denying the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony. My husband and I are 65+ and came here for a quiet three nights of relaxation. We checked out after experiencing one night of hell with no sleep. We were in the beach house which is facing the gulf. As I said, beautiful view! Upon entering the room I immediately smelled a sour smell, The room was old (popcorn ceiling) but beachy furniture and decor was nice enough. There are no closets at all!! Kind of weird but that didn’t bother us. What bothered us was the nonstop noise!! The a/c unit was probably from another century and when it turned on I thought there was a jet plane in our room. We went out on the balcony to get some quiet, however you can still hear the a/c unit. We tried to rest in our room, after an 8hour road-trip to get there. No rest for the weary, partly due to cheap, paper thin walls, but also due to loud, obnoxious people yelling, swearing, and allowing their children to slam doors, run loudly in the halls etc. Since the noise went all night we no sleep. Because we did not call to complain, the front desk denied a refund. I just wanted to get the heck out of that place and go back home. Supposedly we are going to get a refund for the remaining two nights that we had on the reservation. We attempted to enjoy the beach first thing that morning. The hotel lines up beach chairs and umbrellas at the very front close to the water. So, unless you want to pay 44/day you will have to locate somewhere else with your beach chairs .
