We were so blown away by the hospitality of Michelle and Chris during our stay. The room was clean, place very welcoming and Michelle and Chris went over the top to make sure our time was perfect. Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend. Across the street from the beach, a short drive to some great places to eat and beautiful scenery.

This is a nice little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, and that’s exactly what we were looking for. Tennis courts and the beach was right in front of the hotel. I slept well but my travel partner thought the bed in our room was too soft. The owners were there and they were extremely friendly and attentive, breakfast was great, was like a home made meal and they customize to people that has dietary restrictions. This hotel is a breath of fresh air in the middle of all these chain hotels that do not care about anything but $. Here they do care about the guest experience, and that’s huge on my book. We would definitely go Back and recommend to friends and family.

A lovely place to stay ! Thanks to Michelle and her husband for their friendly and warmy welcome. We had a very late arrival. Michelle gave us all the details to get in. We had the Paradise Room. Perfect for us and our lttle girl. The house is pretty well decorated. Next to a lovely beach. Just across the road. The full breakfast is totally home made by our hosts.

Very home-like establishment. Michelle & Chris are most accommodating. Breakfast is wonderful! (Accommodating to food allergies - no worries). Linen tablecloths too. No plastic - all the real stuff...plates & utencils. Chris is a chef which made it a real treat. Michelle greets you immediately through the door and often throughout your stay as well does Chris. They call you by name. Their daughter is sweet & a "hotelier" in the making. 😊 The room was spacious and clean. There is coffee, tea and snacks/fruit available 24 hours. The beach access is diagonally across the street w/ free parking & facilities an accessible 24-hours. Would highly recommend The Mellon Patch Inn (B&B). Wish I had taken more pictures or could post more.

Thank you, Michelle & Chris for making us feel at home at Mellon Patch Inn. What a quiet and cosy place you run. Loved the homemade breakfast and the close location by the sea. We had a nice morning walk. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer.

This was my first experience staying at a B&B, and I couldn’t be happier. I was greeted at the front door by Chris, Michelle, and their daughter, Cady; and immediately felt at home. The house is beautiful, nicely decorated, very clean, very well-maintained. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. They went over-and-above making sure I was well cared for. Michelle prepared a hot, homemade breakfast – something special – every morning. Every day, they asked if I needed anything, or if there was anything they could do for me. Also, they were helpful with advice regarding restaurants, attractions, etc. The location is perfect. It’s on North Hutchinson Island which is quieter and with less traffic than South Hutchinson, yet it’s close to restaurants, attractions, parks, and beaches. Across the street is a large park, with tennis courts and a beach on the Atlantic; down the street is a park with a nature trail along Indian River lagoons. I can highly recommend Mellon Patch, without any hesitation.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Florida before cruising. Warm welcome by Chris, Michelle, Katie and even the new dog. The B & B is great just across the road from a lovely beach. Our room faced the back overlooking the garden, nice clean room, direct access to outside and to the deck via spiral stairway. Unfortunately I was getting over some food poisoning, so breakfast smelled good, but food just wasn't for me at the time :-( Our mattress could use an update, and the toilet had some issues. All in all we would definitely return to this exact location.
