Recently completed a 10 day stay at Pointe Estero Beach Resort. Our Jet Blue Vacation package included a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, beachfront condo unit. The unit was large, comfortable, and had a great view. The furniture looked fairly new and most of the necessities for a self catering vacation were provided, such as: utensils, glassware, dishes, pans, appliances, etc. They also provided coffee packets, laundry and dishwasher detergent, and paper goods which could be replenished on request. We were not fans of the rain shower head in the master bath so we used the other shower during our stay.
I am a stickler for cleanliness and for the most part the unit was clean but...attention should be paid to dusting off ceiling fans prior to guests arrival. My husband wiped them down. Air conditioner registers and bathroom fan covers also needed vacuuming/cleaning. Dust blowing out of these areas can cause a host of allergy issues. These areas should be part of the routine cleaning of every unit prior to occupancy.
Good location, many restaurants in the area. Weather wasn't great during our stay but it beat being home in New England, lol. Unfortunately, only made it to the beach one day. We thought the $25 daily chair/umbrella rental fee for guests was a bit steep. There's a reduced weekly rate but with the forecast calling for inclement weather, we decided against that.
Found the staff to be pleasant.

We just returned from our first visit and an enjoyable family vacation at Pointe Estero from April 19-23, 2021! Everyone from Jessica and Vanessa in Reservations, to Penny, Theodore, Eddie, and Oleg (the manager) at the front desk. All were very courteous, gracious, helpful, and nice! Thanks for all of your help and accommodations!
We stayed on the 5th floor, ocean view, 2 bedroom/bath condo. The layout of the room was spacious, bright, and well thought out. The wrap around screened in patios gave wonderful views of the beach and ocean! Note: The 5th floor view is just shy of the tops of the palms, but the view of the beach and ocean was still beautiful from all angles of the patios. Next time, we will request a a condo for a higher floor to enjoy the experience with a completely unobstructed view. The landscaping around the entire resort and the path to the beach was beautiful and very well-maintained.
The following amenities in the condo were great to have: dishwasher, washer/dryer, large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker; two nicely furnished bathrooms with plenty of bath and pool towels as well as soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, q-tips/cotton balls, and make up remover towelettes. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals and there was a nice wet bar in the dining area.
The decor in all rooms of the condo was very bright and the furniture was like new and comfortable! Everything was very clean.
The pool and hot tub areas were very pretty and clean. Beautiful landscaping and layout of the resort; if you needed to get out of the sun for awhile, there was always an area where you could find shade. Surprisingly, the pool area was never overcrowded and the grills were immaculate! We took sunset strolls along the beach which was very relaxing and enjoyed the nature and even found some cool seashells.
We spoke with some people who have been visiting Pointe Estero for several years as well as some of the locals, and everyone said this was the best resort on Ft Myers Beach~a hidden gem! Based on the experience, we totally agree and plan to return for another visit to Pointe Estero resort soon! Highly recommended!

Big shout out to Jessica, Vanessa and Amanda your reservation specialists. My wife and I being retired and having luxury of flexible schedule and fixed income. All three of the ladies was SUPER working with us to make our reservation.
Of coarse the resort is so relaxing at the first weeks of January compared to cold and snow of central Illinois. The large beach creates very special sunsets.
The completely screened in balconies that are accessible from living room and from BOTH bedrooms. Kitchen is complete, just stop at Publix located close, pick up food and drinks. Pinchers restaurant is a short beach walk away.
Location is great a few minutes from the main attractions and restaurants to the north and the south.
Be aware of street construction that is very hectic, but has been going on for three years.

We stayed for 5 nights in a gulf view 2 bedroom condo at Pointe Estero. The resort location on the beach is great! Huge beach, nice pool and hot tub area, great views from the nice screened in decks and the rooftop, but the rooms need some tlc. The cabinets and light switches were dingy and sticky. The bedrooms were nice, small tvs- but we weren't there to watch tv so that's not a big deal- they were updated so we could login to Netflix which was nice for the kids at night. But, what I can't let go of is that there was a bit of an ant problem in the unit we stayed in. I understand pests happen, but when you pay a decent amount of money- you should not be dealing with pests at a resort. It was an okay place to stay, but I think I will try somewhere else next time we visit Fort Myers Beach area.

This was one of the few places I could find that looked semi updated without the huge price tag. We were disappointed with our room because we had paid for the beachfront view but were on the first floor in which the view was partially blocked by palm trees. The manager was helpful and offered to move us but at the time it didn't make sense to move one-two floors up because we were established and imagined the view wouldn't be much better. The beach in front of the building is quite appalling due to what seems like a lagoon of some sort. Tons of birds were there which makes me think the water is very dirty. You can walk around this area but it takes time and the resort is off the beach more than I expected. The place was pretty clean though and having the kitchen made it easy for meals in.

Hello jessicaehrman1 – Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as guest satisfaction is so important to us. We are disappointed to hear your suite fell below your expectations but appreciate your concerns being brought to our attention during your stay so that we could help to make it right. The extra water on the beach is due to our current season which typically features brief afternoon rains. There is a large beach area in front of our property that allows guests to completely spread out! Again, thank you for taking the time to share your review and for choosing Pointe Estero. Best Regards, Brian Schomacker – General Manager – pointeestero.com

Very nice resort. We've been to Ft. Myers 4 out of the last 5 years and have stayed at another hotel on the same street. We found this one to be better because for a couple hundred dollars more, we got a two bedroom compared to the other place we usually stay at which only offers one bedroom. That was the main reason we chose this hotel. The pool was a nice size and the beach is large. Front desk was friendly and maintenance fixed our TV really fast which wasn't working when we arrived. The rooms were cleaner than the other hotel we stayed at the last 4 years. There was NO housekeeping because of COVID, but that's not an issue. The ONLY issues I have is that the water pressure was weak in the one bathroom and it took forever for hot water. The other was my pillow had a MUSTY stink to it.

Stayed here for a quick getaway with my wife. Place had amazing views of the beach and ocean from 2 balconies. Room was very spacious, had a great pool/jacuzzi and offered free use of bicycles to explore the island. Although it was at the other end of the island from the main group of restaurants, they were only a short drive away and there were also 2 beach side restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!!

We just got home from our stay. I chose this hotel off the reviews and pictures I saw on this site. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath Gulfview room on the 11th floor. The room was great and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We loved having the balcony from every room. The beach was very nice and was pretty low key. We highly recommend the Jet ski Dolphin Tour if you have teenagers or older kids. We had 3 teenagers with us and we all had a blast on the jet skis! It is also very convenient to rent chairs and umbrellas. The booths are right in front of the hotel on the beach. We stuck to the nearby restaurants; Oliver's, Sandbar & Grill and Truly Scrumptious for breakfast and ice cream (get the cinnamon rolls!). One thing to note is there is a lot of traffic to get into the heart of Ft Meyers beach to the restaurants. It took 30 mins to go one mile. That is just a busy area, so it is helpful to be aware of it when making plans. Literally every staff person or worker we encountered on the premises, and at the restaurants, during our 4 day stay was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel!

We paid $677 for a two day $199 per night stay because of the standard cleaning fee. The room was a 1 BR apartment with a full kitchen and we didn't mind paying for it. We will be back for a longer stay next year.

My fiance' and I came down from Ohio for 4th of July, stayed extra days past Sunday because the site was fantastic, the staff were friendly and accommodating, letting us stay 3 extra days on a moments notice.
The beach was perfect and pretty low key which is what we sought for a vacation. The room on the 6th floor was great and the views amazing.
The pool was clean and not crowded.
I proposed on the beach during the fireworks and she said yes so it could not have been more perfect.
We will be back next year and maybe even get married on the beach!

Stayed there three times, always had the beachfront view. All three rooms was very nice, give the balcony 110% and the rest of the Suite 100%. As far as renovation goes I could not answer that but all three of them was just a little different interior design.

Beachfront rooms are ground level so you can walk directly out to the pools, outdoor bar and beach area. The upper levels have a balcony that overlooks those areas but you can also see the gulf from the front of the units.
