Beautiful beach: it was like walking in powdered sugar. Staff was great we made memories at the pool and finding sea stars and shells on the beach. Saw dolphins in front of the hotel. Great for all ages. Food at Jack’s and Bongo’s was good too.

This was our first family vacation and one that will be hard to top thanks to Pink Shell! The resort is beautiful with so much attention to detail throughout. Our villa was clean, incredibly spacious and well laid out for our family of 4. Daily included breakfast at Jacks was delicious. The pool was perfect for our 3 and 5 year old to enjoy safely and independently. We appreciated the wide variety of daily activities for kids. Ranger Rob is an incredible asset to Pink Shell. He’s a wealth of information, who visibly loves his job. His interactions with our kids during his Critter Connection and Nature Walk, is one we won’t forget. We’re looking forward to visiting again in the near future!

Pink Shell is about 1 mile off the beaten path toward the end of the peninsula. The beach is private, and very well groomed. It is easy to get a chair and umbrellas, as the staff there provides them when asked. It wasn't too busy over Thanksgiving, and the free breakfast is a very good, generous breakfast. Bongos food is decent, but about 30% overpriced as can be expected at a resort property. I'd liken the room itself to a 3 star hotel. Clean, and good enough. Think Comfort Inn level or so. The view out of the room was extraordinary as all room open to a fantastic beach/ocean view. We were able to watch the sunset every night from our balcony. Ranger Rob was excellent and we were able to schedule a kayak tour with him through the bay which turned out to be private as another family cancelled. He is super knowledgeable and personable and adds a lot to the experience at this resort. Pools were nice but not extraordinary.

Overall a disappointing stay. Was supposed to be a nice resort. Cleanliness: Having to change our own sheets at 11:30 p.m. because the ones on the only bed were stained and had hairs on them was not a good start. Wrong sheets were brought with the first call, so had to await a second set to be brought. They “couldn’t/wouldn’t” give me them when I walked to the lobby. Next day, went to shower, there was a minimum of 8 hairs in the shower. It’s one thing to have a missed hair, but between the sheets and tub, cleaning suspect. Shower curtain was dingy and gross! Noisy! DJ music on he pool deck several hours of the day, followed by live music that evening made the resort just plain noisy. Not peaceful and tranquil. Even from our 8th floor room, let alone outside trying to listen to the water! Ceiling in bathroom needs repaired. Balcony was really small with odd angles. Barely room to move with the furniture that’s already there. Definitely not a resort for a return visit. Wish we had stayed elsewhere. Struggle to find any real positives.

We had a lovely experience at the Pink Shell Resort and Spa. Our king-size suite was spacious with a full kitchen and the bed was comfy. Housekeeping came on schedule and the staff was helpful and responsive. It’s right on the beach and you cannot beat that! I loved that there was a pool for families and one for adults only. Just wished there was a swim-up bar! (The drinks are pretty pricey). Unfortunately the weather was cooler than normal for November - but of course that had nothing to do with the hotel! I highly recommend it and we would absolutely return!
