Detailed Reviews
Having spent the winter months at Indian Creek RV Resort for the past several winters, it is my pleasure to be able to share just how terrific the location, the care for it's properties and grounds, cleanliness, maintanence of continually updated and improved public facilities (pools, showers, club houses, etc.), and, of course, the always quick helpfulness of the friendly, responsive and excellent staff. You will not find a more welcoming, lovely Park, a Park situated close to and surrounded by all the beauty and warmth that Florida has to offer.

My husband and I went here looking for trailers to buy. Our salesman Zeke was very informative showing us the park and homes. We both found one and closed on March 1st. It's a great park with many amenities

My girlfriend and I took the camper down to Fort Myers Beach for a couple weeks. We had a reservation for two weeks and extended it for a month. Carol at the desk took great care of us and got us hooked up for the entire month.
The resort is nice. Short bike ride to the beach (though it is up and over the bridge - though it is a walking path) so no need to drive and find a place to park.
The pool and hot tub were very nice and a welcome sight at the end of each day. We drove over to Sanibel Island and rented bikes a couple of days. Pine Island and Cape Coral are all great and close by too.
I would never hesitate to come back to Indian Creek again. It was a great experience.

Two stars only because the property is clean and lovely (in a sardines kind of way), but AWFUL RV sites (no picnic table, trees, etc.) AND customer service. Had a confirmed reservation for SIX nights for our equipment size but the escort to the site said the site was too small (YUP!) so we spent over an hour looking & finally agreed to another site "if we could cut our trip short by ONE day" which we were able to do. To make a long story short, they actually cut our stay in half but we never would have known this except that we went to the office regarding the one night credit and found they had us scheduled to leave after only three days (WHY?), which meant we needed to find another campground the very next day (which happened to be our 39th wedding anniversary!). NO APOLOGY. Said they told us, but hello, they did not. We were SO lucky to be able to book the very last site at the KOA Pine Island for the rest of our stay. Will NEVER use Indian Creek RV again, and still cannot believe they couldn't at least apologize.

Our tv did not work the entire time we were there 4 weeks. kept telling us a repair man was coming and he never did. It actually got cold there a few nights and the heat in our dump of a rental did not work. said they would bring us a blanket... we were paying 4000.00 for the month and had no tv and no heat and they did not care,,, The property manager was rude and totally lied to us. we will never go back... oh and a side note a rental just down from us was broken in to while we were there, a freaking nightmare

Where do I begin to describe this place...... A 5 star? PLEASE! We stayed here for 5 weeks, beginning in October through November, in a "coach house". Upon arrival, we immediately were required to sign a lease and was confronted that the utilities were not included! Thank goodness I kept an email stating it was included to the dismay of the staff. We were given a map to find our location. With 1100 sites with all 1 way streets (because the streets are so narrow allowing only 1 car at a time), this is an adventure in itself. Our carriage house was brand new and very nice, deserving the 2 dot rating, but was lacking in equipment. We only had four towels, no extra sheets, no bake ware, limited dishes, no dvd player, etc. The site was SO close to the neighbor, you could almost touch each other from the kitchen window and our SUV hardly fit in the driveway. The pool & rec house by us was closed due to remodeling and the other pools weren't heated. Also, the tennis courts were being resurfaced and not available. Activities are only organized during Jan thru April as it is primarily a ghost town during October. The volleyball nets, putting range and pickleball courts were not set up to use at this time either. This is primarily a "resort" that wants to sell the carriage remanufactured homes and rent the sites. There are a lot of old ugly rv's with extensions covered in siding. Depressing! There were limited lots for rv's and we were very thankful we didn't bring our 40' motorhome. It is NOT big rig friendly! Dogs have limited areas and many of areas have signs to stay off the site. People were not friendly either and watch out for the golf carts, they will run you over. The area is 2 mi. from the beach but in an area of vacant strip malls, grocery stores and buildings; very undesirable spot. We will definitely not return.

In Sept/13, rented a new 2-bed, 2 bath modular home for Dec 28-Jan 18/14. Arrived, no keys & when keys were finally found, door wouldn't open. Finally able to force door open & no air-conditioning. Trash can was completely full of last renters trash. Bed has hair on the pillow but I was assured it belonged to the housekeeper. Informed the built in microwave over the range didn't work but would get it fixed. 2nd bedroom had a day bed with King sheets that were in the closet. Daybed filled room when pulled out & sheets way to big for the thin mattresses that were 2-different thicknesses, really uncomfortable. Had to stand up in middle of other bed to turn light on. Fans worked with the light switch but not lights. Air conditioner fixed the next day, then weather turned really cold & no heat. Had to heat bath towels in dryer & wrap up to keep warm. Heat was fixed next day, wires were off something. A carport, was being built next door, contractor parked his trailer right behind our driveway making it difficult to maneuver a full size SUV in & out, not to mention the neighbour's satellite receiver was right on the edge of driveway. Driveway very narrow, had to watch opening car doors so not to touch the home on either side. Homes really packed in with campers, no back yard at all, just a front porch. The contractor covered our front porch with fine metal cuttings from the carport he was building. It was evening when we came home, not aware of the fine metal all over our porch & dog bed. Next morning, had to wash the dog bed as metal attached to the cloth & had to vacumn the entire porch over & over to get the fine metal off the rough deck flooring. Not to mention the metal attached to our little dog & had to be removed so she didn't lick & ingest it. After over 2-weeks of kicking & pulling to open entry door a repair man came to take some off the bottom. MIcrowave was never fixed & the week before we left a large counter model was brought in. Never knew if the dishwasher was going to run it's cycle or just shut off with several inches of water in the bottom leaving dished covered with sediment & wet. Bought an electric kettle so we could boil water & took the receipt to the office ($16.00) & never did receive a refund. Lots of excuses made - not enough staff, staff over worked, not much money allotted to setup home for housekeeping, if we had rented directly from Indian Creek instead of the central NY booking they would have been able to meet our needs better, agreed they were not ready to handle the rental units, lots of excuses & I'm sorry. Worst ever Florida vacation. would never recommend buying one of the homes, cheap construction with many flaws, cheap appliances, lot sizes ridiculous. Had e-mail from park manager re hoped we enjoyed our stay, responded to e-mail, no response. Had e-mail from sun communities re home buying, attached former e-mails & asked to be removed from their e-mailing list. Then got phone call from park manager who agreed they weren't ready for renters & lots of excuses why not ready. Said, hoped we would give them another chance & I said no, that wouldn't be happening. Received e-mail following call offering 20% off a future stay after I had already said I wouldn't be coming there again. Having spent over $3200. on this vacation rental, not interested in wasting more money. Had many vacations & this is the first bad review I've ever written.

We were visiting friends. It's large, huge actually, a bit crowded, but I think that's because it's so clean and well maintained! Lots of things to do, ladies at office seemed pleasant and professional. We would go back! Have stayed at a lot of rv parks that weren't nearly as nice! Convenient location too!

My husband and I actually own a home in this park and love it! Here are a few of the highlights; great amenities such as 3 pools, fitness center, tennis courts, pickle ball courts And there is a fantastic miniature golf right in front of the park (and these are just a few of the options). You are only a short drive from the beach (where there are great restaurants and shops too) and right around the corner from Sanibel Island and Captiva. We have quite a few friends who stay and we tell them they can do as much or as little as they like to do and they always come home and tell us how fantastic their stay was!!!!! The park is kept nice and everyone is very friendly. We feel it is a great location!

This was our first time renting a manufactured home for our vacation rental. We truly enjoyed our visit. The service is excellent and the grounds are very clean. There are pools on site as well as laundry facilities. We stayed in a home that had two bedrooms, washer/drying, full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave and two large flat screen tvs. We also had free wifi in our rental home. Every morning we were up early walking through the park. The neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. The RV Park is close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants and shopping areas (Target, Dollar Stores). We will be back next year.

You would have to call the office, there are people that rent their 's for around $2,500.00 a month.
