Two stars only because the property is clean and lovely (in a sardines kind of way), but AWFUL RV sites (no picnic table, trees, etc.) AND customer service. Had a confirmed reservation for SIX nights for our equipment size but the escort to the site said the site was too small (YUP!) so we spent over an hour looking & finally agreed to another site "if we could cut our trip short by ONE day" which we were able to do. To make a long story short, they actually cut our stay in half but we never would have known this except that we went to the office regarding the one night credit and found they had us scheduled to leave after only three days (WHY?), which meant we needed to find another campground the very next day (which happened to be our 39th wedding anniversary!). NO APOLOGY. Said they told us, but hello, they did not. We were SO lucky to be able to book the very last site at the KOA Pine Island for the rest of our stay. Will NEVER use Indian Creek RV again, and still cannot believe they couldn't at least apologize.…
I highly reckamend staying here for more then a week, We stayed the month of November in house 70 Huron and it was a dream come true. All we could talk about was staying here and what fun we had from Pickleball, Swimming in the pools, Playing pool and taking walks and there was much more to do besides what I mentioned. Just a fun place to be.
I have stayed here 4 other times and it just keeps getting better every time. If you can't find something to do or if you don't have fun then I would say that you don't know what fun is. Just to point one thing out is the Tram to take you to the beach (if you're over 60 years old) cost .35 cents one way and stops in front of Indian Creek.. Indian Creek is not just for RVs. We stayed in what they call a High Raise a manufactured home that was very pretty and clean, plus they are animal friendly on one half of the park. Please check it out well worth the stay. I know I'm going back again after just staying a month I'll be going back for a longer stay.
I have been here at Indian Creek RV Resort, Fort Myers Beach for over a month. The facilities and amenities are great. I originally was going to only stay a few days. Due to circumstances I've had to extend my stay here a number of times. As such, the staff has been very understanding and accommodating. The staff all are great, excellent, very helpful and personable. I've stayed at five RV Campgrounds/Resorts in the past two months in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia and here in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. I rate Indian Creek RV Resort and it's staff the best by far of all five. Staying here is a smart decision you won't regret. Tom S. Toms River, New Jersey
Indian Creek is a large RV resort near Ft Myers Beach. Has a combination of park model homes and RV sites. Lots of facilities, all well kept and clean. Offers several pools, hot tub, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, basketball, corn hole, a nice library and fitness center. There is something for everyone! Bathhouses are clean and neat. Nice location with an easy drive to the beach!
We love the location of this community! A few years ago we stayed in another unit here. The amenities are wonderful. We spent some of each day in one of the pools- or down on the beach. It's an easy place to get around, both the community itself and the city area surrounding it. Unfortunately, there were a few concerns. First being that the unit had not yet been cleaned when we arrived! We were a late check in, and could not reach anyone to determine why. No one was at the gate when I went back to report this. (Actually it was only manned about 50% of the times we went through over our 13 day stay.) There was not enough bedding found for the two beds that night.. and what we found was in the dryer. We did report this the next day and our cleaning deposit was refunded. The mobile we stayed in had very little decoration, nor was the kitchen stocked with items to prepare a meal. There wasn't even salt and pepper! No channel guide for the TV, no DVD player. Not much to entertain anyone staying there. We've been renters of vacation homes all over the SE United States over the last 20 years, and this was by far the least equipped place we've stayed in. A totally unfortunate experience! We have learned we need to rent from owners in the future. We rented directly from the resort this time. The staff has not stayed in one of their rentals, so they have no idea how sterile it feels. Again, we truly love this resort. (I actually hope to move there some day.) It is well maintained, is in a great location, and has lots of wonderful people living there.…
We stayed here for eight nights on the Passport America rate of $21.50 per night. The staff were great! They worked hard to be sure our stay was pleasurable. On the other hand, the long term residents were not so friendly. One insisted in walking his dogs on our site and leaving dog crap by our car doors. We did not get the warm fuzzies from the seasonals! The RV sites are tight in the dog section. The roads off the main roads are only as wide as the RV. So, backing into an RV site puts you into the park models across from the RV sites. You can see more on our Youtube channel, Your Full Time RV Living.
that is the large community gossip pool to gather all relevent facts on where to dine where not to , sales etc the folks are so amazing and friendly Walmart is less than 1 km across the street , costco is about 4 kms . library snooker room , tennis courts and much more
Not camping ,squeezed into a mobile home spot with 5 ft space. Narrow roads in this senior retirement park, couldn’t maneuver most roads with only a 24 foot. View consisted of mobile home and it’s a/c unit, no room for a picnic table truly a retirement spot for those that don’t like trees or grass. The people that worked at this could not have been nicer, however for 70 a night didn’t expect this at all.
We stayed here for eight nights on the Passport America out-of-season special. It is conveniently located to activities downtown at Fort Myers Beach. The resort is nice and well manicured. It is very large with lots of sites. They are however mostly occupied by park models and mobile homes. The RV sites are spread about on smaller sites where larger mobile homes will not fit. We were on a corner and due to it being off season there were no residents anywhere near us. They were gone for the summer season. Our site was grass with a concrete patio. The RV services were adequate and we had no problem with them. We were near the pool building and able to pick up the wifi there. We used the laundry facility, but not the pool or bathhouse. We were escorted to our site and all the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We would return if the need arises, especially during the summer months. I can guarantee a winter stay could be a different story.…
