When we arrived they put us in a new renovated room but we wanted something on the 2nd floor, we got it the 2nd day no problem. All visitors were very friendly loved the feel of being someplace where everyone spoke to you and gave you highlights of the wildlife in the channel when was the best time to see... More

We have owned property in Fort Myers for 15 years until we sold it last year so when we returned for our 6 week holiday this year to the Mariners Lodge we did not expect to have such a good time. How wrong we were ! This Lodge is managed and owned by 4 people who work tirelessly to make... More

This review rates The Mariner Lodge & Marina in Ft. Myers, Florida as a 5 star facility. This is pretty much accurate as to cleanliness and location, especially considering the very reasonable price charged for a weekly rental (they also rent daily.) The current physical state of this facility probably does not actually rate 5 stars. If you are looking... More

I have stayed here for work for a few weeks in January during peak season. This was the most affordable place I could find and it was really nice. Even if your room does not have a marina view, it's still a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to stay in the Ft... More

Nice old Florida style living very affordable for the area parking was good as was access to points of interest. The Dolphins come in to swim and chase fish for supper. The dock is off limits as it is starting to fall apart, the pool is being repaired. We caught between managers but everything worked out fine Would consider going back... More

i've been here about a month and it's a decent deal for the off season, you can do weekly rental and possibly monthly, don't know if that's available during high season. Kathy, Kim & husband are real cool and overall it's got all the privacy and quiet you might need or want or you can usually mill about and meet... More

The staff were very friendly, very caring, but the "lodge" is rundown, sparsely decorated, and surprisingly unattractive, considering the beauty of the marina and water view from a common balcony. Cigarette butts were everywhere on this balcony, although our room was clean. I would return but only to be frugal and save money on my accommodations.

We stayed a week we misunderstood the "deal" but ran to target and bought some towels and toilet paper. We should have brought pillows too. We had one of the smaller water view rooms but it was clean, working A/C, Cable, Hot hot water, Wi-fi and EXTREMELY affordable. The staff was great very concerned that everything was OK. The down... I stayed here for 2 weeks. The room was clean. The shower pressure and water temperature were outstanding. The rooms are not luxuriously appointed, but you do indeed get what you pay for (a room with the necessities to have a comfortable stay). The staff are friendly and attentive to requests for information or assistance. From the doorstep of the... More
