We love going to Sandpiper every year for our family vacation. Its a great beach especially if you have small kids. If you plant to go over Fort Myers its one of the best places to go and visit with helpful staff, clean rooms, great view and amazing refreshing pool!

Get place to get away to. Plenty of sun and sand. The ocean view and sun sets are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and practical. Grocery store is only half a mile away for your needs. Perfect location.

I've stayed here twice and have loved being here both times. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is great, service and amenities are nice but the best thing of all is the location and view. This hotel is a wonderful place to vacation in.

My husband and I visited this resort for the first time and will definitely be back. We stayed in a beach view room and the view was gorgeous, especially at sunset. Clean resort, friendly staff, and close to the beach.

Older hotel but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast at the pink sand hotel that they say that the patrons of sand piper could partake in , but the pink sand did not offer a discount to us. We were not going to pay over $40.00 for breakfast not including the tip. Big disappointment.

The outside of the hotel is kept up relatively well, but we have stayed her multiple times over the years and the inside rooms all seem to have multiple deferred maintenance items which have not been addressed. I informed a member of management about this during the last day of our stay, with a two-page list, handwritten, giving examples of these, and hopefully things will improve the next time we visit. If not (and maybe even before next time), we will consider another nearby location for our stays and recommend the same to our friends and neighbors who also stay at Sandpiper. Examples of issues include easily fixed items like multiple light bulbs not working, extremely rusted door hinges on the bathroom doors, too dim a bulb in the kitchen fans, no door stops on the bathroom doors, the bathroom doors too close to the floor (should be 3/4" off floor, not 1/4", causing insufficient exhaust fan air circulation, catching of bath floor mat when door is opened or closed, etc.), only about 4 of the digits on the safe currently operating, and the plaster above the shower head was about to fall off, because the shower above it on the above floor was leaking. We stayed in room 258 this time, but these issues were present in all of the prior rooms we've stayed at over the last couple of years too. Ironically, a group of management representatives were making a trip around the OUTSIDE of the premises while we were there, being very particular about noting and makings list of things to correct outside, one of whom I gave my list to. I hope similar attention is given to the inside of rooms. The beach should also be scraped to move sand to cover low spots near the hotel and create a gradual slope towards the ocean. Right now there are multiple deep spots near the hotel where debris and litter accumulates during storms. Nevertheless, it is such a good location, near a grocery store and on more quiet south island side, with a great beach, water sports desk with jet skis, etc, that we hope these minor repairs will be taken care of so that we will feel better spending our time and money here again.…

We are repeat customers. Loved the room! View was breathtaking. Sunsets unbelievable! The ac was able to keep us cool, even with the high temps and humidity. Having a kitchenette was wonderful! Beds were very comfortable. We will be returning! 💜🌴😎
