My wife and I and sometimes kids have stayed with Steve and Cathy for the past 9 years in May. This year, due to the Covid, we had to cancel and Steve promptly refunded all of our money. We look forward to our next visit. The rooms, while old style are all clean, comfortable and everything works perfectly. There isn't granite countertops, but lots of wood which reminds you of old Florida, perfectly situated across from the public beach and within 50 feet of Times Square. The location here is so good - behind a 3 story building that blocks all noise, while next to the peaceful lagoon with fish and seabirds every morning. Yet, you are literally steps from the best shops and restarants in Ft Myers Beach and of course the beach! We love this place and spend 9 to 10 days per year here! There are always an assortment of chairs and umbrellas to use and of course beach towels. So, to sum it up, the place itself, while a bit dated, is perfectly maintained and the location is the best on Ft Myers Beach. So, I give it a 5 of 5 for us. We cook breakfast and some lunches and go out to dinner every night.

There are some beautiful luxurious places along Fort Myers Beach. This is not one of them. This is in a great location, very well appointed, and is very inexpensive considering where it is. I remember staying in places like this in the 1960s. It has a sofa, table and chairs, rocking chair and kitchenette, at least a sing and fridge and microwave. Very utilitarian, very comfy, walk out your door and be in the middle of FMB Times Square in a minute. Be in the ocean in two. Friendly people run it and friendly people stay there.

We have just had our 3rd great stay here. It’s home from home in the most beautiful location on the Bayfront & 2 minutes walk to the beach & restaurants/bars. The owners are friendly and involved with the guests sometimes sharing a drink at the fire pit in the evenings. They provided a great cook out/ bbq where all the guests mixed and enjoyed a chat. Lovely pool and apartments are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. This is my piece of paradise I’d recommend you make it yours😊 See you again soon, Louise & Paul

This place is a hidden gem with a ton of charm! Upon arrival, on Christmas Day, I was greeted by a guest who had the key to our Villa, which was a studio or what we considered our cabin. We were welcomed like family! When we entered our “cabin” it was older amenities, but exactly like what we had been advertised, yet it was very clean and everything we needed was provided, including beach towels! We were lucky to have an end unit, that had a washer and dryer (no charge) right next door. We had a cute table and were right at the dock with a gorgeous view. At night we used the propane fire pit. We had a great little patio where we met our neighbors who vacationed there annually and their families ended up joining them in other rooms during our trip and we ended up getting to know them and hanging out, going to the local bar and playing games. The beach is directly across the street. That can be said of many properties, but this is honestly STEPS always, not a long walk away! Everything is within walking distance. The restaurants and bars on the beach are great! Lastly, we were able to meet Kathy the owner and she is the most sweet, genuine, and lovely person ever! I am not a family member or previous friend of anyone at the Holiday Court Motel, had never been to Fort Myers Beach previous, but would definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants to relax and have a good time without breaking the bank! We will be back purely based on our time at Holiday Court!!

READ THIS...This place is terrible. The good reviews are from family. Husband and I checked in after a long flight and were tired. We napped and husband started snoring so I moved to couch. Owner came in to fix smoke detector battery, and saw my “bed” on couch. He immediately accused us of having an extra guest. We did not. My brother has a place mid island and every morning had walked down delivering us coffee and rolls and the owner was POSiTIVE that he was staying with us. I offered to show owner my brother’s reservation record at other hotel He refused to look at it. The next day we went out, we came back and he had removed all extra blankets and pillows from the room, and left is with 2 towels. We just laughed to ourselves that he was being very passive aggressive: The final straw was tonight. We went to dinner and came back to our room for ice cream. He started pounding on the door demanding my brother leave at 8pm. We told him to just call the police and he did. The police came in to our room and were in total agreement that the owner is crazy. We called Expedia and left at 10pm. Our entire stay, we were stellar guests. Quiet, clean, respectful and barely even there. This owner is mentally unstable. I know his wife assists in the business and she really needs to get a grip on his behavior/mental health or this hotel will never survive. We love old Florida hotels. This is not one. This is an old and crappy hotel. Dirty. When we check in, I tried to use the lobby restroom. Owner said “no, it’s too dirty.” I should’ve left then See my pics. The air Conditioner will hang over where you sleep and has dangerous black mold. See pics. I’ve been coughing excessively and tomorrow will be at the Dr to see If this cough is black mold related. The bathroom floor had the previous guests collar insert, so it obviously wasn’t properly cleaned. Mystery stains on walls. Just ick. There are better places on the island. Don’t get sucked in to peers Steve’s mental instability on your vacay. He will try to lie with a reply to this. His reply will be a reply from an insane man

Hopefully during your next visit to Fort Myers Beach you will stay someplace more suitable to your preferences. I guess you will not be back here since the police issued trespassing warrants to you, your husband, and your brother so you will be arrested in you enter the property.
