We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Mango Street Inn. (And I am NOT easy to please! Just check out my Expedia review of what I thought would be a similar property at Clearwater Beach 3 days later!!) Everything was exactly as described; except....., that the breakfasts were even better!!! Thank you so very much! Absolutely LOVED it!

Dan and Tree, kick the dog and the cat where perfect hosts. The rooms were great and the breakfast was awesome. Such a perfect place. We fully enjoyed our visit even if the weather wasn’t the best. Thanks

Close to the beach (even though we didn't go) and within walking distance of Fort Myers Beach's highest concentration of places to eat and go out. The Mango Street Inn is that odd combination of a motel/bed and breakfast with two rows of rooms paralleling each other and a communal sitting area/garden in the middle. The owners, who will prepare a delicious fresh breakfast in the morning, live on premises. It's the kind of friendly place where you'll automatically feel welcome. They offer beach chairs, towels and so own that you can borrow. And there's plenty of mosquito repellent too, hardly a luxury in summertime Florida. The rooms are suites, and quite large at that, with first a living area with kitchenette and fridge and with the bedroom in the back. We enjoyed a very good night's rest in a very large bed. Airconditioning wasn't working as it should have, so that's the only downside that I can think of. Even though we stayed for one night, the Mango Street Inn normally requires a two night minimum stay.

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at Mango St. Inn at the end of Oct. Dan was the perfect host- Tree was away, and Dan did a marvelous job of keeping the inn spotless, helping with local suggestions of attractions and restaurants, and showing his culinary skills with delicious breakfasts. Ft. Myers Beach is across the street, and Dan supplies chairs, coolers, an umbrella, towels, and even bikes and a wagon if we needed them! Free wifi kept us connected, and the resident rescue cat and dog made it feel like home. Our room had a fully applianced kitchen, which came in handy during our stay. We met a lovely group of international and local guests, while enjoying the peaceful central courtyard. A/C and a king size bed let us relax after full days of exploring and beaches. You can’t go wrong staying with Dan and Tree- they are committed to excellence, and we are lucky to have found them! We will be back!

My husband and I picked Mango Street Inn because they were a B&B and pet friendly. We picked a great place. Dan and Tree, the owners, were wonderful! The room was perfect with a full kitchen. The setting was quaint, beautiful, with lots of tropical plants, and comfortable. The location was great because you can walk across the street to a beautiful beach ( I walked on the beach every morning with my Labradoddle around 7am and saw so many dolphins). Bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. are all provided. Restaurants and shopping were all within walking distant. Each morning a incredible breakfast was served outside in the courtyard. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

Thank you for taking the time to write such nice things about the inn Betty. We really enjoyed having you, Bob and Cody as our guests. Tico keeps running to your door looking for his buddy. To steal a phrase..."we'll keep the light on for you"!
