Hotel's Favorite
We stayed 2 nights at the Best Western in Fort Myers. We took a boat to Key West and had a great time. The hotel was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We never stay anyplace but Best Western. Love accumulating points for future free and discounted stays. The beds are what do it for us. They are like sleeping in our own bed at home.

Stayed at this recently remodeled hotel for four days in January 2020 in a king suite. I thought the staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel room was very clean and the outdoor pool area was nice. I gave it a 4-star rather than 5-star rating for three reasons: First, the air conditioner is right next to the bed and it runs loud. Second, the windows open (which I like) but they don’t have screens, no bugs in south Florida? And third, the walls are thin. Our room was at the end of the second floor, so not a lot of neighbors, but someone’s clock alarm went off at 5am, ran continuously for about 10-15 minutes (they must have left the room), so that was the end of our sleep that morning. I would definitely stay here again because it’s fairly priced, rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, and staff is friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk and in the breakfast area (SoHeir made sure the hot food was fresh and always plentiful).

There for just an overnight trip to the area. Hotel was not crowded, most likely due to the Covid Situation.
Hotel is located in a somewhat industrial area, but a quick trip to in your car to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to enter hotel off roadway, There are a couple of places within walking distance. Ample parking and clean exterior.
Lobby clean and observant of cleaning practices due to the virus. Breakfast area closed; breakfast was a prepacked grab and go, but by 10am, there seemed to be nothing available, so I cannot offer an opinion.
Rooms were spacious, seemed recently upgraded. Beds comfortable (firm) with ample pillows. WiFi excellent. Rooms were somewhat quiet; did hear the neighbors in the hallway once, but it quickly quieted once they entered their room.
Sink area outside of bathroom. Bathroom had a tub with plenty of hot water, shower head high (I’m 5’10”) but may need changing as seemed a bit clogged (hard water build up?).
Room had coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave. Desk area, ample drawers and a good sized closet. Room was clean, however there was a full pack of M&M’s on the top shelf of the closet, so I have to be honest & wondered why that wasn’t caught when they cleaned the room? (Ps. We left it in there)
Staff were extremely friendly and made you feel like a priority. Kudos to their customer service practices.
Overall, a nice stay and a place I would absolutely consider staying at again.

Would not recommend. Our room smelt so awful like mildew and smoke. When I brought it up to the front desk and asked to change rooms they handed me room spray which didn't do a thing. In addition to the nasty smell, the beds and pillows were worn and uncomfortable as was the bedding. Everything was very dated. Take your money elsewhere!

We spent four nights at this hotel and we were very happy with the accommodations.
The good experience started at check-in. We arrived before the 3 pm check-in so we weren’t sure we would be able to check-in. However they had one room that was ready and they accommodated us.
Our king room was very clean and nicely appointed. The sink was outside the tub and toilet area which is always a plus. We were on the 4th floor and we did not have any noise from the rooms on either side of us. Occasionally you could hear a little hallway noise through the door. Overall it was very quiet.
The hallways were lit and very clean.
The pool area was a nice size and very clean. Plenty of chairs and chaise lounges to relax.
There is citrus water, coffee and tea in the lobby at all times.
Breakfast is the usual Best Western fare. Everything was warm and nicely presented. There is a nice large room with plenty of tables to eat.
This hotel is conveniently located close to 75 and the major streets in the city. Short drive to Sanibel / Captiva and Ft Myers Beach. The parking lot is very brightly lit.
The lobby smells like Hawaii. Every time you enter you are greeted with a pleasing tropical aroma. It is quite welcoming.

This Best Western was located at the outskirts of an industrial park which was great because as long as you were in a room behind the hotel it was very quiet. Everyone was totally friendly, especially Sahir the breakfast attendant who was quick to say good morning everyday and engaged us and some very pleasant conversation. She was very efficient in keeping everything well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the healthy choices on the breakfast buffet. A bonus was that the coffee was excellent.

Front desk lady was super sweet. The actual hotel was clean. Three housekeepers were outside the room on the morning talking loudly. Even when I stepped out of my room the stayed looking at their phones and listening to music loudly. We had to find somewhere last minute and all the cheaper hotels were booked. So we spent $200+ for some sleep. I get it was our fault but a bit excessive. There was also a lady at breakfast that followed us around and would reach over us to get trash or fill the condiments. And she did this to others as well.

Ohhhh if you are very allergic like me don't worry smoke free through out the entire hotel in or outside and dust free. My biggest pet peeves is dust and even the ac unit was dust free. Thank you for maintaining a dust free ac vent.

it took us about 15-20minutes.we were shuttled to the car rental place before and after. they do have some car rentals right at the airport. not sure if the hotel has a shuttle
I'm sorry, but I don't know. I didn't see any pets during my stay.
I'm not sure. Can check with Hotel.
Sorry to say we did not come that way. We came from I75 and used google maps to get from there to hotel. Ford is right off of Colonial I believe.
