We spent 3 nights in The Palm Room and it was cozy and comfortable. The owner and staff were friendly and genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. My husband has a bad knee so we drove over to visit the Edison/Ford Museum and downtown shops/restaurants but they were within walking distance. There is a Publix less than one block away. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you enjoy the B&B experience, you will enjoy this one.
We stayed for three nights while visiting my mom who lives in the area. It was our first time staying at the Hibiscus House. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs. It was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. We asked for dining recommendations and our host, Bob, was very helpful as I was looking for outdoor dining and easy access for my mom, who has mobility issues. The location is very convenient to all downtown Ft. Myers has to offer. We highly recommend this B&B.
The Hibiscus House is a gem - the staff is fantastic, the breakfasts are out-o-this-world, and the rooms are large and comfortable. We are making the Hibiscus House our go-to place when we visit the West Coast of Florida.
This is a truly beautiful Bed&Breakfast in Ft.Myers. It's near to the downtown area (10min walkway) and other locations like beach or Edison center are easily accessible by car. The owner and the innkeeper are very helpful and friendly, the food is amazing, it felt like coming home each day when returning after activities. We got extra towels and the innkeeper even helped us late evening when we got home sunburned with Aloe Vera and a recommendation for a nearby Urgent Care. Very very kind people. The rooms are beautiful and some have an extra outside access. Highly recommend a stay at this place!!!
Top rate...beautifully appointed, decor is very lovely! There's only 5 rooms, so everyone gets treated special. Bob, the owner/chef puts on a delightful breakfast every morning (his crepes ere outstanding!)and his assistants, Sheila and Deb are not only very helpful but personable and very sweet! Centrally located, beautiful small gardens with seating...just superb all the way around! We'll definitely be back!
A truly wonderful experience. From the comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated room to the fantastic breakfast, a stay at the Hibiscus House is a memorable experience. Bob, the owner, is a wonderful storyteller and sits with the guests after breakfast, when his schedule allows. Sheila, the onsite innkeeper and Debbie, the chef extraordinaire, are both welcome assets. We brought family along with us and all were happy with the accommodations. We have been before and will return again. This place does not disappoint.
We had a wonderful weekend at the HiHo! Amazing rooms, amazing hospitality, and the breakfasts were over the top! This is our second time staying here and we couldn’t be more pleased. Great location for walking to Edison Ford, the marina, and downtown. We can’t wait to come back!
We stayed here for 4 nights. Loved the bed & breakfast. Sheila and Bob are great, very helpful in many areas. Loved the breakfasts they served. Close to downtown, the Ford/Edison estate and museum and Sanibel/Captiva islands. We made a few friends here. Lots of room to hang out if it's raining and a couple of places outside to sit. We were in the Bougainvillea room.
We stayed in the Palm Room for one night. The room was very comfortable and we loved the historic charm of the home. The home is perfectly located to all the area sights. The next day we awoke to an amazing breakfast . The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this charming Inn.
we felt fortunate to find a one night availability on short notice, within a week of proposed arrival, as we finalized our travels plans. strong positive reviews made it rather obvious of the quality of this lovely property. as advertised, we had safe, secure off street parking, and were able to walk to restaurants & shopping in city center with ease. the room was nicely appointed, the breakfast menu was delightful, and our only regret was such a short stay. definitely is on our list should we be back in the area again for a return stay!
