After our first trip to the Groves RV Park, we decided that this was the place to spend our winter months, The people in the park and the park management are very friendly. We also have a long list of activities that everyone in the park are invited to join. There so many things to do , and so many friendly people to talk to there is something for everyone to do The RV Park is in a great location. There a lot of places to visit. We stay in our RV and really enjoy coming to the groves every winter.

We had an amazing stay and we were warmly welcomed by the team at the Groves RV Resort of Fort Myers! Beautiful community (55+) and fun activities. The resort is clean, peaceful and just a few steps away from the beach. You can either rent a house on the Resort or rent a lot to put your vehicle/tent. The Groves is the perfect place to have fun under the sun with great people. Thank you for all the good times ! Here are some pictures of me enjoying my stay.

"Follow the dream" to a "friendly" life style at the Groves RV Resort in Fort Myers, Fl, where the office staff welcomes you with a smile and makes sure your stay is enjoyable & Safe. The maintenance staff and househeeping staff work hard to keep the pool, bathrooms and resort looking immaculate. Everyone is treated like family. The Groves staff deserve a +10 for this

We paid for a “premiere” RV lot which was all concrete but faced the 4 dumpsters. We paid extra for cable and TV which stopped working after the first week of our month stay. Told the office which said they would call the cable place. I checked a week later and they eluded that they will remember to call now. Never had it restored. A piece of mail was mistakenly sent there that they said they do not have over a week ago with no clue what could have happened to it. I called a week later to follow up and the office said she would check on it and literally hung up the phone twice on me….which is prompting me to write this review. However met some really nice people there and the park has a nice community atmosphere.

My family lives in Ft Myers and we stay at Groves in our 16' Airstream when we come to visit a few times a year. The majority of the community is manufactured homes and most of the rigs that stay are larger - fifth wheels and class A's. We definitely stand out with our little tin can. Jeff, one of the friendly staff people is incredibly helpful and will remember you by name! The amenities offer all the comforts of home. The bathrooms were remodeled in late 2014 and are absolutely fabulous. There is a pool, shuffleboard, pickle ball, community room, game room, laundry. Wifi works best when near the main buildings; won't broadcast to your site. Groves is not far from Sanibel and Ft Myers Beach. A Publix is across the street and a Dunkin Donuts a few miles down the road. It's a great location.

Have been coming here for many years, close knit big family, we are noted for being very friendly campground!! So close to Sanibel & Captiva island. (2 miles to Sanibel causeway). & only 3 miles to Fort Myers beach. Tons of great restaurants oh and about 5 miles from downtown Fort Myers ! So convinant! Love this area!!👍

My husband and I stayed here. It was absolutely perfect. It was clean and the staff is friendly. Just a very nice place. Full kitchen and washer and dryer was in the unit. I would definitely stay here again.

Mostly permanent or seasonal sites, but many sites for daily visitors. Lots to do here. the calendar has something for every day. The only negative is the sites are tight and short, and the roads are narrow. All in all, a good place to stay.

Nice, quiet, clear RV park near Ft Myers Beach. Sites are tight but the location, amenities and friendliness of the staff make up for that. Park offers a nice dog park that was kept clean. Amenities included a swimming pool, shuffleboard, pickleball, bocce and petanque courts. Bathhouse facilities were well maintained and clean. Great location and great price!

I spent a week at this campground, and I loved it. I was traveling alone from Connecticut to visit family in Fort Myers. I told the staff that I was not proficient in backing my camper, and I was accommodated with a site that I could drive in. The staff was so friendly, and I was allowed to camp with my Newfoundland dog with no problems. The campground was very quiet and very clean. The site was grass with a concrete patio with a picnic table. There was no need to put out my carpets to keep the inside of my camper clean. The hook ups included sewer, water, 30/50 amp service, and cable tv. There is a place for the dog to relieve herself and there is a dog park there also. Very nice place, and I would be glad stay there again if I were visiting Fort Myers. To be noted, the campground is in close proximity of public beaches and grocery stores.

The resort always has some new manufactured homes plus there are some older park models also for sale. Check Sun Resorts website and click on the Groves, then on Homes For Sale. There is a sales consultant available by phone. I am a snowbird from Canada and my wife and I bought a used park model six years ago. We are very happy with our choice. Good luck.

"It's going to depend on their availability and how big your rig may be but the area with the large oak trees is our favorite. In a park full of manufactured homes in close proximity it's nice to be under some old oaks for scenery."
