We paid for a “premiere” RV lot which was all concrete but faced the 4 dumpsters. We paid extra for cable and TV which stopped working after the first week of our month stay. Told the office which said they would call the cable place. I checked a week later and they eluded that they will remember to call now. Never had it restored. A piece of mail was mistakenly sent there that they said they do not have over a week ago with no clue what could have happened to it. I called a week later to follow up and the office said she would check on it and literally hung up the phone twice on me….which is prompting me to write this review. However met some really nice people there and the park has a nice community atmosphere.
Nice, quiet, clear RV park near Ft Myers Beach. Sites are tight but the location, amenities and friendliness of the staff make up for that. Park offers a nice dog park that was kept clean. Amenities included a swimming pool, shuffleboard, pickleball, bocce and petanque courts. Bathhouse facilities were well maintained and clean. Great location and great price!
I spent a week at this campground, and I loved it. I was traveling alone from Connecticut to visit family in Fort Myers. I told the staff that I was not proficient in backing my camper, and I was accommodated with a site that I could drive in. The staff was so friendly, and I was allowed to camp with my Newfoundland dog with no problems. The campground was very quiet and very clean. The site was grass with a concrete patio with a picnic table. There was no need to put out my carpets to keep the inside of my camper clean. The hook ups included sewer, water, 30/50 amp service, and cable tv. There is a place for the dog to relieve herself and there is a dog park there also. Very nice place, and I would be glad stay there again if I were visiting Fort Myers. To be noted, the campground is in close proximity of public beaches and grocery stores. …
Hve been going there for five years now. Past four in camper. This year, wished to take elderly parents down as they are looking for a winter spot for their upcoming winters. We booked a "cottage" this time.... Big mistake!! besides arriving on a Saturday and finding the hot tub was out of order, needed a part... Well, a week later, still no hot tub/part... it isnt 1985 anymore, there is a thing called amazon that sells just about anything and delivers it ASAP. Cable and internet went out Tuesday evening...contacted office. They said it was on us to contact cable Co. get fixed. You ever try to work w/cable customer service without account name/number?? neddless to say, went without that most of week too!! Drains backed up in both showers. Could have been a lot nicer if the customer service aspect of this outfit was present. needless to say, we will NOT be returning nor will my parents be part time residents at the Groves!! Sad part is, I emailed them upon my return last week, they never even responded... very poor , very poor customer service!! will not be recommending it any longer to friends/family..…
The Park is very clean & up to date. People are friendly and stop to talk, there is a lot of activities that everyone can attend if they want to. We have a great exercise room & a Nice club house for are get togethers. Overall it is a good rv park and they have houses to rent if you are interested in that.
Beautiful park with great amenities. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Short drive to Ft. Myers Beach. Trolley Service within walking distance.Sites are nice and all staff helpful with any questions you may have.
we have a 2 bedroom 2 bath little house/cottage. they are clean and supplied with your everyday needs for cooking and eating. it is a quiet place to relax and enjoy your vacation. The pool is awesome the water is so warm and enjoyable. we have been here twice and will return. Best place to be.
This is the prefect place to stay after the "snowbirds" are gone. The had a great offer going "stay one night, get one for free"! We stayed 16 nights we we like everything! Very friendly and helpful people, very clean facilities! We would stay here again!
We came to visit friends from home in New Hampshire for a mini vacation at their seasonal home at the Groves RV park. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the residents who were all very friendly. The park itself was spotless and well laid out. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. We stayed for 6 days and wish we had more time. Lot's to do in the area. We behaved so were invited back next year. Hopefully we will. We enjoyed some of the many get-togethers the residents put on because of our connection to our friends that live there. Had a great time and would consider getting a place there ourselves one day.
Our space was so small we could barely fit our small camper. Cost of space was high considering size. Our space was squeezed between two "permanent/seasonal" park models, one neighbor was friendly the other was obnoxious. Otherwise, amenities are nice.
