We stayed in this great park near # 743 Campo at Siesta Bay 55+ and advertised as a dog free resort. Well that’s not quite true. We heard dogs barking during the day and even saw dogs being walked about by their owners. And also a young family with 5 over active children throwing around a football on Campo and bouncing football off the next door neighbours truck. There is no one in that family 55+ ! Where is the camp warden? Sorry but this park resort is turning into a Funny Farm.
We bought a place in here and it was nice. The grounds are well kept, and they finely got the maintenance guy under control. Just when things were going well, we had, and older RV rent the space next to us for the season. They are so loud, rude and annoying. They act like we are in a campground not an RV resort. It is constant TV, cell phone on speaker, stereo and their voice volume goes right thru our covered windows. The management is working with us, but we can hear them over our TV. It is very stressful not being able to go home and relax. So please wherever you rent, or buy be respectful to your neighbors
My husband and I bought a home here and we couldn't be happier! The grounds are beautifully kept and activities abound! Today is Thanksgiving day and the resort provided a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for us - turkey and all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious, homemade and awesome food! Thanks so much!
I loved being here as a guest but my life has been a nightmare since purchasing here. It is a fact that the Maintenance Manager is married to the Office Manager so any complaints about the conduct of said Maintenance Manager will fall on deaf ears. Same for Indian Creek. Sun Communities in general does not care about the people who pay their wages. Just google Sun Communities and you will see what I mean. Should have done my own due diligence. Hindsight and all that.
I loved our time at Siesta Bay RV Resort. The RV we got was essentially brand new. Check in and check out was very easy. The location is perfect for commute to either Sanibel, Captiva, or Fort Meyers Beach. It is also very close to Wal-Mart, Publix, and restaurants. The resort is very peaceful. We slept like babies. The amenities are also excellent. We used the hot tub which was very nice.
We booked the 2 bed 2 bath and it was nice and clean. The beaches of Ft Myers, Sanibel and Captiva are very close. The Sanibel outlets and a host of other shops are also barely a mile away. Will certainly book again and highly recommend.
We rented a two bed/two bath track home for our first experience as snowbirds and wish we would have planned to stay three months instead of two. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the over 55 resort is clean and well maintained and the residents/renters are all very friendly. Daily activities are mostly run by resident volunteers and range from cards to sports to art classes. The pools, fitness center, library and activity centers are open every day and are rarely overcrowded. Resort activities include dances, dinners, music and holiday parties but get your tickets early because they sell out quick. We have already reserved a spot next year and can’t wait to return.
My wife and I are from Canada. This is our first stay @ Siesta Bay Resort. We are renting one of their 2 bed-2 bath Units. We have been here now for 7 days of a one month stay. We have already reserved Jan and Feb for 2020. We thought it to be a bit pricey until we arrived. Well worth the price. Beautiful resort. Well appointed. Well organized and managed. Wonderful community, full of great people. Clean and well maintained. Great entertainment schedule, live entertainment with great food and drink. We highly recommend this resort to all 55 plus adults. We love it.
Excellent staff and friendly service. Helpful neighbors and very clean park! I truly enjoyed my stay, and I would give this place an A+. Very close to the beaches and easy to navigate to local attractions.
A great location and a great RV Park/Resort with great employees. Two pools, (1 lap pool, 1 soaking), shuffleboard, tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, hot tub, fitness center, pool tables, horseshoe pits and two catch & release fishing ponds. Party room with live entertainment. The hardened sites are spacious with all hookups. Cable TV/internet available at a low cost. You must bring your own WiFi router if you need WiFi.
