We reserved a room for four adults. We were provided two bath towels, and when we asked for more, we were told that there were no more available. Staff didn’t even attempt to reach out to housekeeping to request more. Also, no additional pillows available when requested. Our guest room lacked a doorknob to the bathroom - just a hole to pull it shut with. The bathroom also needed updating and deep cleaning. Finally, the hallway outside of our room smelled so strongly of weed that one could quickly get a contact high - even with a mask on. This room was not worth the price, in our opinion.
This is the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in - and that includes some weird European set ups 20 years ago when standards were very different from now. MOLD MOLD. DISGUSTING. And when i was asked for it to be cleaned the housekeeper did the standard "hotel cleaning" which is always very very basic.
The hotel overall is very pleasant, and with minor improvements on the service it can be perfect. We loved the room set up and the quality of daily cleaning. The only suggestion on the room is about the bathroom - an update was obviously due a long time ago, thus there is no way to keep such an old bathroom clean and tidy. There was some breakfast offering - pre-packed take-out but of very basic (to say the least) quality and choice of snacks - after checking it day 1 we did not even ask for it days 2-3. From service pov let me share the story - it was not boring... We booked the hotel for 3 nights. The second evening someone was trying to get into the room, but since we were in, he realized that there was a mistake and left after apologizing... We thought we will find an apologatic note from the hotel in the morning, but NO 🤪 - at 11:30 pm that night we got a call from the reception requesting to give my name (“Spell it for me”... because “there was a mistake with the booking”) My husband went to the reception to figure out what was going on, and got to hear a story from the receptionist about someone before her booking another person into our room, and something else about the stress in her life... When he came back, his key did not work - apparently the receptionist had time to tell the story, but could not think about the fact that she blocked our keys, when issuing a key to the earlier “intruder”... On top of everything, when leaving, we were charged higher rate than what we booked for, and had to ask for correction - the correction was done without a fight and even with an apology for the “last night problems” 😎 Thus the hotel is good, the service can be better.…
The room I paid for was not ready. I caught the clean service coming out of the room with cleaning supplies after I was told they only needed to add pillow cases. The couch in the room was dirty/ dingy looking like It had not been clean in years. No remotes in the room, when asked I was brought a dirty old remote that had tape on the back to keep the batteries in place.
There were bedbugs on my granddaughters pillow. They had to check out an hour after they checked in. Flop house, crackhouse. Don't stay here. Exceptionally filthy. Sleep in your car if you have to. Stay away from this place.
