My second visit here, this time with my BFF for a special, last-minute, getaway weekend. We had big room overlooking the main pool out front which was pleasant and convenient. On the plus side: The staff here seemed truly, friendly, caring and accommodating. None of the attitude you find at a lot of gay resorts. Eager to please and solve...

For gay men over 30, looking for a beautiful place to rest, talk with strangers that soon are friends, enjoy the beach just 2 blocks away and the gay night life in Fort Lauderdale at short driving distance, even going shopping to the malls, this should be the first option. Late at night things can be more than friendly, but...

On the upside, friendly (for the most part) staff and guests. But the hotel is starting to look worn, and ready for a refurbishment. Furniture the same as the last time I stayed 2 years ago, the pool/beach tools are, or at least look the same, and you can tell they've been washed over 600 times. Room could be a...

This was my first time staying here but it won't be my last. The staff were all super friendly as were most of the other guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is something here for pretty much any taste from relatively simple to a bit more upscale. Saturday night happy hour by the pool is a lot of...

We have stayed at all three of the Worthington Resort properties for about 5 years now. The resort is made up of three properties, The Alcazar (good), The Worthington (better) and Villa Venice (best). The first time we were a little nervous but were soon put to ease by the wonderful staff. The most recent two trips we have stayed...

I stayed In Alacazar rm 111. Room is big and clean The staff is extremely helpful and went out of their way. This is my 4th trip to the hotel. Breakfast was good and there were towels always avail for the beach. I'm already thinking of when I can go back for my next visit.

Clean, nicely appointed, central location by the beach. The staff is great. I can't tell you if you could get any better service. I used to go to Palm Springs, but found that Ft Lauderdale and the Worthington are a much better bet.

What a great place - from the landscaping to the cleanliness of the rooms - pools - hot tubs & entire resort was by far the best resort we ever stayed at ..... The entire staff was also extremely friendly & made sure our stay was exceptional . We plan...

There were 10 of us in total staying in 5 different rooms. Everyone absolutely raved about our stay. All the rooms were extremely clean (more so then some over priced hotels in the area) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived on a Saturday morning and they were able to accommodate us in our rooms before noon!...

I have lost count of the amount of times I've stayed at the Worthington. 40 maybe 50 times. This place is the best of all the gay guest houses in Lauderdale and I have tried most of them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the place is very clean and well maintained and most importantly, the thing that keeps...
