Food was excellent, service and hospitality was top notch. Nuno on the beach and Winceston was so attentive to detail going above and beyond. You will not regret your stay at this restart between the beach, pool, and dining options.
This stay has been my favorite in a while. When arriving it’s all very simple and not far from the airport. Tons of activities to do on the property, the beach being the winner. Once out in the beach on the day bed Nuno, Gali, Latonya, and Rene were extremely attentive and energetic. It made us all feel right at home. Will definitely be returning in the future.
What a phenomenal beach team! Our especial thanks to Ben, Renée, Herb, Taylor, Jahair, Emily, and all the wonderful team that offers such joyous hospitality at Harbor Beach! It is always a pleasure to be with you. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
The room was average. Comfortable king bed and love seat but the room feels older. Some of the cabinetry did line up correctly so the fridge cabinet door would not shut properly. There is a Starbucks in the lobby for coffee, but the in room coffee was not great. I would recommend bringing your own water bottle to refill as water is 6-7$ and there is no complimentary water in the room. The cleaning staff were great but the front desk staff were not as helpful with our general questions. The resort fee is steep but does cover beach and pool activities- we were able to play pickle ball after reserving the court and the resort had the rackets and balls. The beach is great and the pool is nice.
Nuno Casanova made our trip. It was our first trip without our three young kids, we needed the break! We were fortunate to work with Nuno every day. He was funny, kind, and professional. I can give no higher recommendation.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Every employee we encountered, from the front desk to restaurant to housekeeping and beach service were so very nice and eager to serve. Nuno at the beach was wonderful! Nice little store stocks everything you might need, and there’s also a cute little women’s boutique near the check-in. Great PRIVATE beach! The only negatives are food (we ate at the 3030 and the pool/beach restaurants, and neither were very good, menus are unimaginative and limited, and the stinky bed pillows in the room. One non-feather pillow was okay. This is a very expensive resort for a Marriott. Beach chairs are free, but cabanas (they weren’t renting out the far cheaper umbrellas due to wind) are $200-$250. Unless you’re okay with getting burnt to a crisp, it’s the only option. Advice is to eat off-site (lots of great options), request synthetic pillows at check-in, and plan to stay hours in your cabana! Then it’s all worthwhile!…
Best ever! NUNO he is the man on the beach with the cabanas..drinks ..food..smiles..a friendly chat From Portugal! Lots of manners and respect..really made our 2 days on the Beach extra special I mean that ..we work hard! He helped us relax
Marvensky and Nuno. They were both out here having a great time and made sure that me and my friends were able to have a great time too. It was all around great service and a great time down here at the beach!
Luckily we had great weather but service at the beach put our trip over the top. As soon as we arrived at the beach around 8am the manager, Renee, offered us 2 chairs near the water and introduced us to Nuno would would take care of us all day. And that he did! He came by at least every 15 min offering us cold water, snacks and even repositioned our umbrella. He really made us feel like VIPs! Even Renee came back around mid morning to check in. Fantastic staff that really had it together! Resort experience rivals the 5star properties in the Caribbean.
The hotel was super busy but that did not limit the service from most staff members. Every staff member was very nice at this property. Patrice checked us in I believe, and he was very nice and helpful about the amenities of the resort. We got an interior room looking out towards the inside of the building. I wish maybe I could've requested a better view, but it didn't matter much to us. The rooms are a bit outdated and dark, but again, it didn't matter much to us. Still a very clean room and very comfortable considering that we had a lot of luggage. We were able to experience all amenities of the hotel thankfully. The room does include a resort fee which includes food and drink credit, spa passes, paddle boarding passes, and other things which I thought was so cool. I believe the restaurant inside was called 3300, and it had an awesome vibe. There was live music and it was very busy! We just had a small appetizer and my friend used her drink coupon for a glass of wine. Food was served HOT and great! We later got room service that night and everything was great too. The breakfast was good. a bit expensive, but I guess thats what you get for staying at a resort. We also ate at the outside restaurant with my sister who lives in town. This is a great addition to the resort. The pool outside was great and very clean. The beach was also very clean. We were introduced to the beachside service, which was a great idea, but we never got the chance to order. Once we left the beach, we were flagged down by a staff member to give a good review, which was off-putting since we didn't get any actual "service" other than a couple gentlemen to help with our beach chairs. Unfortunately, our flight was super delayed into the night. I can't remember her name, but the front desk agent with the help of her manager was able to give us a really late check out which was very much appreciated. She was also very friendly and super helpful, along with the agent who checked us out. Overall, it was a great stay!…
