Ran away for the weekend and decided on this hotel because it was right on the beach. And it is! Do the valet parking. Amazing service with them. It’s all via text message. Super simple very easy. The pool was lovely as was the lazy river! But they didn’t have enough towels for the pool or the beach. They would run out! Not sure how that is possible but it was a problem as we didn’t want to use the beautiful white hotel towels. The pool loungers and the beach loungers were dirty. Like dirty dirty. They need a good scrub down. I had a broken lounger at the beach. When I told the amazing beach crew, they promptly switched it out. The food from the lounge and restaurant onsite is wonderful but very very expensive. As were the rooms when all the taxes and valet were added up. A lot for a city view with no balcony no ocean view or front. The place was packed but they did a great job trying to social distance everyone. The thing that bothered me the most was that there were no direction when I checked in. I had no idea where anything was. No signs on the walls. I didn’t even know about a place to get food onsite as I was told when I called the hotel directly that there was no restaurant onsite which was not true. I tried calling the front desk to find out what the pool hours were but I had to call the hotel directly. In fact we all called the hotel directly asking various questions and all 3 of us got different answers. I finally went down and talked to the concierge. He was amazing! Then we knew what was going on. They use QR readers at tables etc. which is great but if your not at one then you have no idea. Staff was amazing! Very kind and very professional. And all wore masks. Would I go again. Yes! But I’m going to have to save up!

Brain is so amazing at the pool. As soon as he sees you he looks for chairs to sanitize before he lays out your towels. If you need an umbrella he will grab you one right away. The guy works so hard and is so amazing!!!

My 2 day stay at the pelican was very nice, it was a gift from a family member so everything about it was great for me. I thought our room needed some updating on the furnishings and small appliances but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Room had an amazing view with huge windows facing the water! Every morning we got the most spectacular sunrise view from our bed! Could not imagine a better room! The hotel was very nice with great access to the beach, just down the steps and onto sand!

Came for a vacation with friends. Great resort and extremely helpful staff. Specifically Orlando went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He answered all of our questions and was extremely accommodating when our travel plans were changed. Look forward to coming again!
