I stayed for one night while on a 24h layover in Ft Lauderdale. The hotel is perfectly situated in the central beach area Las Olas right off the beach itself and has a few good restaurants to choose from in the immediate surroundings. The taxi from Ft Lauderdale airport took about 25 minutes (low traffic). The receptionist was pleasant and checking in was efficient. I just felt bad she worked without apparent A/C. The pros: The hotel hands out complimentary towels and chairs for the beach (which is only a few minutes away by foot). It is situated quietly away from the major bars/restaurants that blare music so this was for me a major plus. The room came fully stacked with coffee machine and light breakfast fare for the morning after. Was promptly helped when needed and when organising return to airport The “meh”: WiFi a bit wobbly but overall ok The room felt dated and worn and the cleaning could definitely improve some but given the highly affordable price given the area this is not a deal breaker Summary: an affordable, quiet, conveniently located option in an otherwise busy area but affordability also means a slight compromise in standard. The hotel serves its purpose and I would recommend if money is an object. If you have more to spend there are likely more modern options in the area but I liked this place overall.

we booked 3 nights 4/5/6/ july through expedia - tried to advise late arrival and obtain info on what to do re key ….. tried calling many many times and emailed and used contact form on website …. no reply/response to anything ….. concerned about arriving late with no-one in office we were forced to cancel and book alternative - very unsatisfactory way to run a business …. apparently the manager is away - one young girl in office speaks no English …… very poor!

I booked two rooms. The Suite Apartment with one King bed (U$S 179,66) and a Deluxe room with two Queen beds (U$S 168,37). The Suite Apartment could not be used because the electrical supply failed (black out) every time air conditioner was on. So we were given two equal "Deluxe" rooms. The hotel denied to refound the difference, claiming that the payment was made through Expedia, and it was their problem. I didnt expect real Deluxe rooms for the price, but this building is demanding an urgent renovation. Everyting dates from 1960´s, without maintenance. Places for parking are limited. The staff/employees are kind people. They, and the hotel´s location, are the only highlights. The management is dissapointing.

Booked 2 rooms about an hour before arriving. Got two rooms for $79 each which I think is what they are worth. Everything looks like it needs a coat of paint and bathroom could go do with a bit of updating. Great location and good a/c and comfortable bed. Breakfast snacks left in room were more than adequate. Very good value for money. Free parking as well.

Picture speaks for itself. Plus the room was like 85 degrees. They also keep “snacks and water” in the room that were absolutely there from the people before! When I went down and showed the front desk they tried to play it off like it was paint. Ended up just asking for a refund and getting out of there
