My husband and I drove from New Jersey to visit the sunny state of Florida for a mini escape. We left New Jersey and made the descent into warm weather and palm trees. We arrived Saturday, November 14th and we stayed in paradise until Friday, November 20th. We were exhausted when we finally made it there, but we were thrilled with our accommodations. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. We went to The Living Room for a few drinks. Our bartender was very kind, funny, and attentive. His name was Patrick. The bar was crowded and he NEVER stopped moving. Hands down he made the BEST Cosmo! I don't often write reviews, but I was very impressed with this young man's work ethic and mannerism. After a long ride, he was very welcoming and we enjoyed talking to him! Thanks Patrick! My husband and I can't wait to return and have a drink at your bar!

Unfriendly staff at the bar. Bathroom barley had space to change your mind. Fir the amount of money that you spend staying at this hotel it felt like you were staying at Motel 6. We wanted to feel like we were in luxury just a little bit but this was far from it. We also got placed in a room with a barking dog next to us and they wanted to move us instead of the guest with the barking dog. After argument, In the end they ended up moving the guest with the barking dog.

Had high expectations and was so excited to stay here in the most expensive suite they offer. After checking in with our party of six, we figured we would need an additional bed which they said was available since two people would have to share a pull out couch. Asked 3 times for the extra bed and they said was coming but which never came. Finally one of our party succumbed to sleeping on the raw pullout mattress because they never brought any linens ( not kidding, they didn’t give us any pillows, sheets, or blankets) They removed all of the silverware and pots, pans, and glasses. No coffee maker or coffee. Good luck if you planned on cooking or eating here. Definitely not feeling the vip treatment whatsoever after buying the most expensive suite they offer. This is honestly the biggest joke ever. Really sucks and has to be better options. Look for other options, I wish we did for our vacation dollars.

We checked in Friday 11-20 for a weekend stay to watch the airshow this weekend. I booked the room with points, 160,000 to be exact for a 1 bedroom suite. Check in was easy and i asked for an upgrade to a 2 bedroom, they said they had 1 for an extra $150 per night and i accepted. We had a drink at the bar and went upstairs to tower 2, 17th floor. Everything seemed okay at this point. We left the hotel and had dinner at Louie Bossi, great food. Returned to the hotel to get some rest for the big day on Saturday. Woke up early and had breakfast at Steak 954, good food but very slow service. Wife and kids went back to the room to change for a day at the pool. I went to the pool to get some chairs. $75 for a day bed, okay, no big deal. Then i tried the pool, OMG the water was freezing, could not have been more then 70. We spent 4 hours at the pool area, not 1 adult would go into the water. I put my feet in, it was like an ice bath. We did see a few kids in the water. I inquired about the temp and was told the pool is kept at 76 all year. ROFL, there was no way the water was 76, could not have been more then 70. So basically we could not enjoy the pool. Went out for dinner Saturday night for a few hours. Came back and my room was like 80, the AC was not working. OMG. I called the front desk and they sent someone up. He could not fix it and turned the fan on. The master AC did still work, but 90% of the room did not. During the AC issue, my kids wanted some dessert. I went down to Steak 954 to get some. The manger told me that only 2 where available for takeout, cookies and chocolate cake, as the other desserts came in expensive dishes and could not be brought back to the room. WOW. I spoke with the Hotel manager Rahul, who was great. He credited my room back the $300 i spent to upgrade the room and sent us some cookies and cake free of charge. In the end, very unhappy about the stay. $40 per day for parking, $42 per day for a resort fee. $75 for a spot at the pool. It would have all been worth it if the room did not have issues and the pool was heated. I am giving 2 stars only for Rahul as he went out of his way to help us. O ya i forgot, we had the same elevator issues others said they had, The main ones near the check in desk did not work all weekend, we had to walk up and down. Also the sinks in our room would not drain. We wont be going back to the W.

I gave this hotel three stars, because I just found it lacking in so many ways while trying to position itself as a luxury resort. Check in was difficult. They had multiple elevators out of service and did not appear to be concerned. I had to check back with the front desk in order to receive the credits they had already explained I would be receiving. I also accidentally left my drivers license with them and they never made an attempt to return it to me. I realized I had left it after I departed. They made me arrange a fedex shipment to have it sent to me. The room and pools are nice, but everything is very pricey. I found service to be slow and uncaring.
