Loved my stay at the W, but I loved my time at the beach even more. The gentlemen, especially Arman, from the beach were exceptional and very polite and welcoming! He layed out our towels, brought us water and rearranged our chairs for us. He and the rest of the lovely staff at the hotel made my family and I feel anxious to come back and experience the amazing service and standards the W provided for us. Much love <3
We’ve been coming to the W Ft Lauderdale since 2011, and the energy has only gotten better with time. Danny, Ed, Luis, Andrew and Anthony always extend the best hospitality and make sure that our every wish is granted! We love it here and are so happy to be reunited with our extended family.
This our second year in a row we have visited W Fort Lauderdale, last year we just by chance and it was awesome. This year the wife and I wanted to actually plan a stay for our anniversary this year. JANE DE KORT and the staff here went above and beyond every second. I figured I’d just call and talk to the concierge to see if they would do anything special for us and they took it over from their. Room upgrade, decorations over the top and lastly a bottle of champagne before dinner on our actual anniversary date. Just blown away overall I have been telling everyone already based on last years stay, but now not only will we be back regularly but so we’ll people we tell. Great job W
The hotel was really nice!! The service on the beach was fantastic, Makai was really helpful and welcoming! He got everything I needed. He got us towels and water when we asked and told us about everything that goes on on the beach

Kai & Michael were amazing! Their willingness to assist, was kind and easy. I will definitely be back. I also enjoyed the option to just use chairs, chair and umbrellas or the shaded tents. I went with the chair and umbrella. Great choice’

I've stayed a few W properties and the one in Fort Lauderdale is a great spot. Front desk check-in with Mark Henry was great! He know the property and surrounding areas - was super helpful. Would recommend this to friends and family. Thanks
Last weekend I stayed at the W Fort Lauderdale and had planned (last minute) to propose to my girlfriend at the property. I met with Raul and Ryan Strober and had the best possible experience. Ryan went so far above and beyond to make our experience amazing, we were both blown away. The hotel itself was fantastic and the rest of the staff we're very polite and helpful. 10/10 would recommend the hotel and will be returning in the future.
Overall, the worst experience I’ve had at a Marriott in over 2,000 night stays… I attempted to use suite night awards to upgrade to an ocean front, and the request was denied even though rooms were available leading up to my stay. When checking with the hotel, they stated they have nothing to do with suite nights and would only guarantee the upgrade at check in. At check in, an ocean front room was available online to book, yet they stated they had none and would not be able to upgrade me to ocean front. I could accept that, accept I could have booked an ocean front room right there at the front desk. Here’s where you need to beware… I was told that IF I DID BOOK an ocean front room right then and there, and paid for an ocean front room, they would not give me one!!! This is unheard of and something that I’d never expect from marriott! This was supposed to be a special few days away, however the experience leading up to and the at check in have made this question my loyalty for marriott. On top of these items, the wifi is so slow that email wouldn’t work and they don’t have bellmen working during the day (I was told) to get bags out of storage. I do know there’s a shortage of workers these days, so that would have been acceptable had the rest of the process not been so difficult.…
