My friends and I had been debating whether to go to the beach or rent a boat until we saw the cabana, umbrella, and beach chair set ups. We approached the stand at the entrance of the beach and met Reuben who explained what is offered. He provided clear details on cost in addition to what options would be best for us and our needs. Half of us wanted shade and the other sun. Reuben explained what would be most accommodating for all of us and it sure was. After he set us up on the first day we told him that we’ll be coming back everyday. Reuben set up our spot, towels, and provided us water. We loved our spot so much Reuben ensured we had the same spot everyday. Honestly, his outstanding customer service is what drew us to come back everyday. Couldn’t be happier with the experience as it literally made our entire trip.

My sisters and I went for a long weekend. The Ritz was great. Especially at the pool - Jonathan was so helpful. Anthony at the bar was amazing! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and beautifully prepared, especially breakfast. We liked the complimentary bottled water and how they also included some nice extras, such as water taxi passes and bikes. It’s right across from the beach. The only negative is pool temp gets very hot, it’s shallow and on a roof top, like many pools on the beach in the area. It’s worth paying more for high quality service. J -Boston

Worst Ritz experience ever. We are huge Ritz Carlton fans and stay at one everywhere we go. The lack of customer service and the condescending attitudes of all of the staff makes it a cold and miserable vacation. The poor attitude is systemic at this property. The only saving grace are the pool bartenders and waitstaff. The property should have The pool team train every other front of the house guest services personnel. Needless to say we will never be back and we have told everybody we can to stay at the other hotels on the same strip. Hopefully they get their act together.

We stayed 7 nights in an oceanfront club room for the express purpose of starting the mental healing that we all must go through after the COVID trauma. I must mention the most important part of this stay was the kindness, warmth and understanding of all of the staff we interacted with on a daily basis. By understanding, I mean they have the patience and discernment to understand that as guests begin to come out of hiding, the team at the Ritz are an important part of the mental healing that needs to take place. We were not used to interacting with strangers and had some relearning to do regarding having fun, human interactions, and patience. The Ladies and Gentleman of the Ritz seemed to intuitively understand that we needed them to help us and we hope we could also help them hit their stride. The check-in by Emily was flawless with her understanding the need for a great view from our oceanfront balcony. She took the time to make sure she understood all of our needs for accommodations for 7 nights. The Club Lounge is staffed by a team of genuine kind, warm and fun people. Lauren, Nia and Florence were more than just Ladies they were the people who we interacted with many times a day and helped us begin the mental healing described above. They became the friends we looked forward to seeing each day. Down by the pool, Jonathon took good care of us by the pool with setting up each morning but even more he would come quickly if we needed help with umbrella or other items that are part our set up. The facilities were very clean and 99% of the guests wore masks indoors and 100% of all the staff wore their masks always. If you need a place with beautiful views, well cared for rooms and outstanding Ladies and Gentlemen this is the place to begin your mental healing. I typically don’t give bad reviews but the way I was treated here was not the diamond quality they claim to have. I booked this room with expectations of relaxation and peaceful views, not to be treated like my concerns did not matter. I called a day in advance to make sure a room with a tub would be available they told me yes. I was so excited to be getting a nice room with a bath so I could relax I had been having a long week & I needed a break away from scenery so my intentions were to get in a nice bath. Arrived at hotel checked in let the front desk person Alejandro know how I was excited about my stay and asked about the tub again he assured me he gave me a room with great view and a tub. Great walked in room it was beautiful. Only to find out later as I’m preparing for my relaxation and bath the water is coming out yellow. In disbelief I immediately called downstairs telling them if someone can come check it Alejandro sent up maintenance. Maintenance came seen the water and told me it was normal. Shocked I begin to tell him that’s not normal water is clear as I show him how it’s coming out the sink and shower(clear) I call back down stairs to speak with them again to get a better understanding they begin to tell me this is normal for the area it’s the filter system that’s how everyone water is etc. I ask to speak to manager because I’m not please with what I’m hearing and my reasoning for booking this hotel is ruined, because who wants to get in a bath where the water looks like urine. I literally have a anxiety attack crying in all because I really needed that time to relax. I ask the manager what could they do for me and they tell me nothing because I booked at a discounted rate. That is not customer service, mike kept reiterating that because I was booked under this rate that They weren’t able to do anything. Mike came to room seen water and started to say he’ll see what he can do only for me to find out he was the lost prevention manager and not operations. Mike said he could offer me some points at this point I was ready to leave but he wasn’t sure if they would refund me. He told me the operations manager would call me in morning to let me know what will happen. I received no call I had to call and ask for the manager Catherine gets on the phone and began to tell me yes she read the email and as mike stated there’s nothing we can do for you. They all stated they lived in the area and their water was yellow and they take baths in it. As a person who has been in the service industry for years this was unsatisfactory service and they made me feel uncomfortable and like I wasn’t deserving of anything because I didn’t pay a different room rate. Upon check out I went to introduce myself to Catherine the manager I extended my hand to shake as a courtesy greeting she just looked at it and kept talking as if she was disgusted with me. That was very unprofessional of her. This whole experience was horrible and I hope no one else who comes here to shower or bathe in yellow water. I’ve stayed in several hotels around the world and never experienced this type of treatment. Let alone want someone to be ok bathing in yellow water.
