We've been going to the Birch Patio for many years. It is the nicest and most reasonable place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale. Very clean and I love their swimming pools, cook out areas and great service. Considering these times, it was very convenient to cook in our room and take a short walk to the beach. Everyone was distancing at the beach and no need for masks there. We may go back again before the summer is over.

We have sayed at this motel 3 times and loved every visit. Room has microwave, large fridge, stove and spacious for the price. Lots of lounge chairs around the pools and BBQ,s made the meals inexpensive by walking to Publix instead of Expensive $$ prices. Angela and her staff are quick to resolve any problems. Located only 2 blocks from the ocean it is less then half the price of hotels right on the ocean but book early as it is quite popular.

My boyfriend and I spent a week here in March and it was a fabulous experience. This is a no-frills establishment so if you are expecting a full-service hotel this is NOT for you. Our room was VERY clean, which for me, is the most important part! I will say that the pool area could use a little cleaning - some debris around the perimeter - but nothing horrible. Daily maid service was perfect! It would be nice if they could leave the beach towels in the room as you have to get them from housekeeping, and sometimes you want to leave for the beach before they get there. We absolutely LOVED the kitchenette, having the pool right outside our room, and the two minute walk to the beach. I almost don't want to tell people about this place so I can keep it as my secret. We LOVED meeting all our neighbors and enjoyed some nights on the patio eating, drinking, and talking. It's truly a special experience! We can't wait to go back next year!

I have been to the Birch Patio several times in January and on the last trip, only the weather disappointed me! The reception desk is always a wealth of ideas on day-trips and I was surprised to have been upgraded to a suite with a full kitchen at the price of the small room I reserved. You have large supermarkets close-by if you stay several weeks and cook. There are outdoor grills, tables, benches, pool, boccie ball, and you are not even 10 min by foot from the ocean.

Our repeat stay at Birch Patio was as good as always. Super clean, convenient, excellent location and relaxing. It’s been about 10 years that we are staying at BP and it’s always been just right for us. Thank you Angela for making us feel welcome.
