The room was very comfortable, clean and large with 2 double beds. It had a large fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, TV, and all utensils for the kitchen. Birch Patio is located just 2 blocks from the beach, in a very quiet and relaxed area. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. Parking is available right outside the hotel. Angela is very helpful and she will do everything in her hands to accomodate your needs. This was my 2nd time at Birch Patio, hoping to return soon!

A friend and I decided to go on a weeks trip but only needed a cheap place to sleep. The price was great and Angela at the office went over and above to take great care of us providing us with a variety of recommendations fr restaurants and items we forgot back at home like sunscreen and shampoo. At first glance most people would see two college kids and naturally scoff and walk the other way. She greeted us each day with a smile and always made sure we felt at home. The place itself covered the basics and even allowed us to use the pools at the sister motels as well as our own. It was a quick walk to the beach and we were able to get anywhere we needed on our bikes. Will definitely be returning!

Birch Patio offers the best price/quality ratio one could expect. The rooms and apartments are very large and comfortable. Cleaning is done every day. The kitchen includes a large fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and even an oven. There is TV, good A/C, fast wi-fi, a nice pool, and the best of all is the location: just 2 blocks from the beach and from many restaurants, bars, and cafés. Plenty of parking is also available. Finally, Angela is the best host you can imagine. She is always happy to assist in everything one might need. This is my 4th visit and I plan to keep coming as often as I can. Thanks, Angela, for always making my vacation so pleasant. ALEX from Buenos Aires

The hotel was pleasant, clean and two blocks from the beach. Angela was great with accommodating my needs both checking in and checking out. Awesome service which I appreciated immensely. They room was quaint and the entire hotel was older but well kept.

We've been going to the Birch Patio for many years. It is the nicest and most reasonable place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale. Very clean and I love their swimming pools, cook out areas and great service.
Considering these times, it was very convenient to cook in our room and take a short walk to the beach.
Everyone was distancing at the beach and no need for masks there.
We may go back again before the summer is over.

We were very very happy with the whole experience. Angela and her Mom were such good hosts. the motel is old but spotless and freshly painted. The rooms are very large with all the conveniences you could possibly ask for.The 2 pools are clean and inviting.

The welcome when we arrived was so friendly that I really wish I could write a better review of this place.
First the good - the room was big with a big fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. It looked clean, but a bit tired around the edges. The motel has a washing machine and drier that guests can use for a charge. There is a small, heated pool. There is a very cute ginger cat who lives on the property. Free parking and a convenient location for the beach.
The not so good - the towels and linen were all stained. Every single towel was covered in what looked like blood stains, and the bed sheets and pillow cases had black marks and brown (blood?) stains on them. Having seen this you just didn't feel like touching anything and although the bed was comfortable I couldn't get to sleep for thinking about the stains and not wanting to touch anything.
This is such a basic mistake and easily-remedied problem that it made you worry what else might be going on that you couldn't see. After one night we moved to a different property

My husband and I had booked a night at the Birch Patio Hotel following a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived very early, around 10:00 A.M and were not scheduled to depart from the airport until the next day at 6:00 p.m. Angela(the owner) greeted me at the desk and was very helpful. She allowed me to check in early and also assisted in finding us a room for the night that would allow for a late checkout the next day. It was also an upgrade to an apartment rather than the suite that we had booked. I offered to pay an extra day for the early check in and late checkout and was told that it wasn't necessary. That is excellent customer service!! She even had a couple of the workers at their 3 hotels come and help us move our luggage to the room. The apartment itself was very clean and well-kept. The air conditioning worked excellent, unlike many small hotels we have stayed at in the past. The grounds were very nice and well kept. You have access to 3 pools as they own 3 small hotels in one area. We enjoyed the pool at the Napoli Belmar the most. We travel to Ft. Lauderdale twice a year for a cruise and will definitely stay at this property or one of their other properties again.

I stayed at Birch Patio after checking out other reviews here. I am staying here while I am in the area to see my new grandson. It is very close to the beach and a great location. Angela was very nice when I arrived and the housekeeper Yenny greeted me and opened up the apartment for me. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen appliances where new and the bedding was very comfortable. I had two entrances. One that opened onto one of the pool decks and the other to my own private patio in a nice courtyard. The place seemed very family friendly.
The living room furniture is ready to be replaced and the bathroom fixtures also but overall my experience has been very good. I love having all of the pools to chose from and I seemed to be the only person using the deep pool behind the Napoli Belmar which they also own.
I hope to stay here again before we leave for our cruise in April. I can recommend this place to those on a budget.
