From when Andy answers the call, to Casey the manager taking the time to take my call and answer my questions with heart and passion. The Hotel is in the BEST location, and you DO NOT need a car for you 3 to 5 day vacation. You are feet from beautiful beach, and the pool and restaurants are awesome. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the hotel is 10 mins from airport. And, they are taking all the precautions to be safe!
I stayed here for two nights in August 2020 for the second time and left feeling very satisfied. The resort is operating during COVID and did a great job. Rooms are clean and mostly all-suite with a kitchenette/living area. The remodel they did was very well done, nice beach themed with quality finishes. I stayed in 1809 and had a beautiful southeast facing view with a large balcony. Bathroom is not remodeled completely I believe, however the style is timeless. Shower has extra water pressure, better than just good pressure. Pool is fully open and very clean however I spent majority of my time on the beach. Resort fee gets you two chairs and towels, however no umbrella, that's extra FYI. The lobby is scheduled to be remodeled but doesn't look outdated. Overall, stellar timeless quality 4 star resort with great service from housekeeping and the front desk. I think you'll be quite happy after your stay.…
Stayed here the second week in December. It’s a nice Hilton. The property was clean. We had a nice, renovated suite on a high floor with a good view. The staff was friendly. Raquel at the front desk was very helpful. Good location for Fort Lauderdale Beach stay. I liked that managers were helping out with “basic” tasks in the lobby including getting luggage. At some hotels, managers can’t be bothered with that. The limited housekeeping was not a problem. We just called when we needed towels, shampoo, bathrobes, etc. and the staff brough us the items quickly. Strong WiFi in the rooms, enough for video. But bring a Roku or FireStick to plug in if you want to stream, the TV's are Not "Smart." The “3S” restaurant at the hotel is recommended. Great variety of food & drinks in outside seating area. Biggest problem is the major construction next door to the north. Our room faced away from the construction (south west) and it was still loud on the balcony. Although, it was pretty quiet inside the room. Unfortunately, there is nothing the hotel can do about the construction. As a Hilton Elite we received continental breakfast. This consisted of take-out items choices like pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, one hot item of the day (egg sandwich, pancakes, etc). and a Choice of Either one Small Coffee or one small juice (strictly enforced on multiple days with multiple staff.) So, I could have a bagel, muffin and also an egg sandwich with a small coffee all included as one breakfast. But I couldn’t have just one large coffee. The food items were fine and more than adequate for a quick breakfast. I do think the hotel should rethink its coffee policy. Other items that could be improved: The chair & towel attendants on the beach consistently did not wear masks on multiple days. Plenty of hand sanitizers all over the property, but many of them were empty. Some guests were not wearing masks in the lobby in full view of the staff.…
We came to FTL along with my Brother and his family for Xmas this year. Hilton has always treated us right, so we always stay at Hilton. I recommend this hotel, it is a perfect location, the view is outstanding and the staff are all very helpful. No issues here. Nice rooms, size and cleanliness. They keep it extra COVID safe. Also we rent exotic cars when we stay in town and they keep them safe for us every time.
The water in the faucet is yellow. They charge a $40 pre day (+$7 tax) fee for WiFi, chairs with towels at the beach. In reality, there are no towels most days. Who charges for wifi nowadays. The noise levels are horrible. There is major construction going on next door and one is barraged with screaming machines. To make matters worse they keep the rap music playing around the pool at deafening levels. The resort fee includes 2 bottles of water daily but you have to wait in line at the front desk to get them. The 'sanitized' suite we entered in was dusty all over. The balcony door is not sound proof. There is a very loud traffic noise all night from a main road opposite the hotel. I had to wear my noise cancelling earphones to sleep. They have a small pool which is always crowded.…
