Be sure when you check in that you see Andy. He is the best and so wonderful! Andy makes you feel like the number 1 customer. Anything you need, he takes care of it asap. Then you really need to visit the pool. Ask for Taylor. She is awesome and her service is so terrific as well. And, to top it off, the renovations in the hotel are so lovely. It is a 5 star experience.
We were greeted by the valet car service. No help with luggage because of Covid. We did check in on the app so no waiting in line 👍🏽. The room was very clean and ha a great ocean view. The first day was raining but we enjoyed the beach and pool the second day. We ordered breakfast from Panera Bread, very good choice. The free wifi was just okay and it was free because we made our reservation on the Hilton app. The stay was great but my only complaint would be that the valet and resort fees 😱 were way to expensive. Overall very good.
Overall, my stay at the hotel was great! Andy at the front desk was very helpful and super nice! He recommended us things to do in the area. Harell at valet was extremely helpful, especially after having to go back to the car and geting my items because I was able to check in early. Construction is next door and our room was unfortunately right next to it, so we had to switch rooms but we were able to switch within minutes and front desk was able to get someone up to us without having to go back downstairs to front desk. I give it a 4/5 stars because the woman at the cashier for breakfast was quite rude and gave me attitude after asking for questions regarding breakfast procedure due to COVID.
So I’m walking down the corridor at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale with Black Coffee Ready For You playing on the speakers, feeling like a million bucks. That was the experience I was looking for. Thank you Hilton for a fantastic time! I was Ready For You and you were ready for me.
We booked 1 King Bed Junior Suite with separate living room, ocean view. We got un «upgrade» to 2 Queens but renovated room. When we accepted an «upgrade» offer we were not told that it would be a queen instead of a king bed and without separate living room. But at least it was a renovated room, which was nice. The room was clean and fresh, very functional, simple but stylish. The bathroom was also clean and quite spacious. The view was... (you could see from the photo attached...). The biggest concern was persistent marihuana smell on the balcony (but fortunately we did not feel that strong smell in the room). The beach was lovely. The beach guy is helpful and friendly. Also, what is convenient is that if you go to the beach early or late (when the beach guy is not there), you could simply pick up the towels at the pool and the return it there on you way back from the beach. The surprise was with the breakfast for diamonds. At the cafe they offered to pick up a tray with tiny bit of fruits and tiny bit of yogurt. In addition, you can get either pastry or plain bagel. We saw nice looking sandwiches with cheese or/and ham, so my husband asked if he could get one of those instead of plain bagel or pastry. The reply: “No, it is not included in diamonds’. breakfast” So, no cheese, ham, sausages, or eggs for the breakfast. I asked if I could get an orange juice. The reply: “You already ordered your coffee. It is either coffee or juice.” Feels cheap. In Homewood suites, Embassy suits, and even Hampton the breakfast is way more generous. When we asked about this new policy they blamed it for Covid. But since Covid we already stayed in 4 Hilton family hotels, and had much better breakfast experiences. On the check out day we were able to have a late check out, which was helpful. Thanks! Overall, nice and clean property. In spite of all these little nuances, the stay was ok: the beach and the ocean helps to forget about it right away! We stayed for one night and then we moved to another hotel.…
