We recently spent three nights at the Tranquilo hotel. Here are the PROS and CONS: PROS: - Nice and very spacious clean rooms (we had a double queen) with couch, kitchenette (including dishes), kitchen table, full fridge, microwave and two flat screen TV’s - Very comfortable beds with extra pillows - In-room safe - Staff responsive, accommodating, friendly and helpful...

We booked this hotel (though I would call it a motel with kitchenettes) because we had no other options in such short notice. I dont know where to begin. The rooms are spaceous and clean. The bathroom is very dated and we were struggling getting hot water from the shower every day, many times having to shower cold. Now, the...

Aedks2014, We were sad to read your review. We do not have phones in the rooms but do offer cell phones at the front desk. We also have 24 hour security patrolling the Village. We've had a record number of visitors this year, and we're sorry that you had some noisy neighbors. Please give us a call next time you...

What a fabulous little hotel. Big super clean rooms. Exceptional customer service. If you like properties that are classic to the neighborhood, enjoy this one. Royal Palms for coffee & drinks great. Congratulations North Beach Village Resort - you are doing things right! Thanks especially to Olivia, Ray, Tedy, Andrew, Juan, Denice. And Par. Kudos!!! Hope to see you soon.

Nice big, clean room and a friendly and attentive staff. 2 block walk to the beach. Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again. The location provides some distance from the spring break crowd which seemed to be more concentrated about a mile south, so it was a pretty quiet hotel as well.

clifford f, Thanks so much for the 5-star review. Tranquilo is a great boutique hotel. As you mentioned, it's a great value, is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants but is tucked far enough away to get some peace and quiet! Thanks for staying with us. Take care, NBV

Tranquility is as advertised. King Suite was very nice, rooms and property clean, staff helpful and pleasant, and within a couple of blocks to beach and delicious restaurants. Jazzman is wonderful ... She is everywhere taking care of her guests and always with great enthusiasm, kindness, and a happy smile! She is a big reason we enjoyed our stay so...

We had a 1 king bed with a small kitchen. The room was a nice size. Husband did not like the mattress, I didn't mind it (very soft). Pool was small but warm. There were other pools as well. One of the staff told us about coffee at 9 a.m. but that was way too late for us. We were...

two block to Ft. Lauderdale beach, about 1/2 mile to a few bars, casual dining, and beach shops, Hotel itself is nothing fancy, good sized rooms that are self contained. Our room had a king size bed, small kitchen that included stove, toaster, microwave & refrigerator. Small bathroom that really needs a new shower head. Other than two chairs in...

Granted, the place was clean and the bed was comfy but those are the main positives. The accommodations were very sparse, reminded us more of an average European hotel. In light of the neighborhood, coupled with having to pay $10 per night for parking and a room with nowhere to sit except on the bed - all that for over...

Rooms are clean but VERY NOISY with normal neighbor activity. Rooms did not come with advertised inclusions, coffee maker, microwave and no telephone??? While the pictures on the internet make this look like a small boutique hotel, it is really a complex of several hotel areas. However, lots of pools give the feel of a small hotel - each building surrounding a pool. I enjoyed sitting outside by myself during the evening reading by the pool. The hotel is nicely redone and feels...
