Found this little gem when hunting for a two night pre cruise stay in Fort Lauderdale. The location is great and for everyone mentioning how quiet it is, it truly is. You are within easy walking distance to the Fort Lauderdale Beach but the hotel is so nice, you will probably

We reserved the Pillars for the Tortuga Music Festival. The staff is friendly warm and extraordinarily accommodating. The hotel is quaint and beautiful. Loved our room and the view. Will definitely be back.

We recently spent 5 days at this beautiful retreat in the beach area of FL. There is nothing more to add to the many positive reviews already posted here on TA. Whilst this hotel & restaurant is very expensive we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return if we are in FL again.

Great location with views of the inter coastal waterways. Enjoyed the dinner at the Secret Gardens restaurant on the dock overlooking the water. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was great at the Pillars! Pillars had all the amenities that you need. Quiet location and the pool was

Is the pol heated? To what temperature, if so? And how late may one swim?
I’m really not sure if it’s heated. No limitations on swimming hours

We used Uber and Lyft but I believe you can get a private car through the Pillars.

This might sound like a stupid answer, but almost all the rooms when you open the door if you look to the left or right depending on what side of the building your own new look straight out onto the waterway. The hotel building itself is not very large, so you are never that far from the waterway.

The rooms are always well air-conditioned. We have never had an issue with noise. They have wonderful food you can have for breakfast and dinner. I am not sure if it is room service. We sat on the intercostal waterway and ate. We will do that again when we return in September.
