I’m pretty sure there was a drug dealer living in one of the rooms. He was camped outside the room door in a chair, constant traffic of people going to him and in and out of the room. The hotel was overall dirty and dated. I did not feel safe in this hotel and will never be back.
Being as though our first day checking in we backed the rental into a tree sticking halfway out of the space in itself..so no big deal thank god for auto insurance..the staff was entirely friendly although nothing was done about the problem..I received a smoking room we stayed…
This place was nice, quiet, clean and offered breakfast daily. Problem: There are no elevators and my friend had just gotten an ingrown toenail removed. We asked for assistance upon checking in, but the young man said he was alone, thus he did not help a couple of 60 years old…
Try to find a better value, at $90 out the door this place is ok, but it has no business charging as much as a Hyatt Place, it's junk. Worst I asked for first fllor, nope and I had booked a single king roo, and I got two queens. Wifi not bad but has zero security.
This was our second stay at this La Quinta. A comfortable room and a good nites sleep was what we wanted and is what we got. We will reserve in the future when we cruise next time.. Breakfast needs a little work but this is a common problem among some other properties as well.
"Request a ground floor room, if climbing stairs is a problem."
"Please bring back the coffee and tea access all day in the cafeteria. Thank you."
"Relatively quiet on the upper floor this time. "
"Just go somewhere else. This hotel is 2 star at best. "
"Best bed and pillows ever. Please keep it up!!"
