We booked this hotel for a short 1-night stay prior to departing on our cruise from Port Everglades. We had a queen bed room which although a bit small was very clean with a great air conditioner (which is extremely important to us in the summer). Due to bad weather in Houston, our flight was delayed which meant we did not arrive until after midnight. It was so nice to open the door and find the room with the AC on already (unlike some hotels where the AC is motion activated and doesn't really cool until you arrive). Our only complaint about the room is that it did not have a coffee maker. Fortunately, there was a Starbucks right across the street.
All the staff (from housekeeping to front desk) were very friendly and helpful. Our cruise check in time was until 1:00, so the front desk graciously allowed us to stay in the room with no extra charge until noon. They then held our luggage in the office until 12:45 while we walked over to Starbucks for a quick muffin and coffee. The housekeeping staff even volunteered to take our luggage to the office for us.
The property is old, but it is quaint with beautiful landscaping and is only a short ride to Port Everglades (approximately $15 Uber ride). If we ever sail from Port Everglades again, we will definitely stay at the Oasis.

Room Tip: Ask for an inside courtyard room to avoid street noise. We were in room #10.

We made a reservation at the Oasis for our last night of our Florida trip because the other couple we were traveling with had an early morning flight out of Ft. Lauderdale. The Hotel (they call it a Motel which better describes it) is in a great location, close to everything in Ft. Lauderdale, especially the airport.

The website pictures make the rooms look larger than they really are, but when you are in the rooms and comparing them to the pictures, they are accurate.

The rooms were clean and well kept up. Our room (Queen) had a small fridge and a microwave. The A/C keeps up very well. We had to turn it off when we arrived as the room was quite cool.

They provide nice bathroom amenities. The garden is nice with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outside. We played some games on one of the picnic tables that evening and weren't disturbed by a single bug, which was very nice.

We would definitely stay here again. Good location, friendly staff, nice facility.

Excellent location for cruisers! Would not hesitate to stay again if cruising out of Port Everglades. We reserved a room with one queen bed. Bed was comfy. Room was on the small side, but adequate for our needs, and clean, It was nice to have a fridge to chill beverages. Surprised to find a basket of personal care items in the bathroom, including toothbrush and paste, if you've forgotten those. Nice, homey place, with a lovely courtyard to relax, visit, etc.

I stayed at this hotel on 4 different occasions between cruises out of Port Everglades in March and April 2022, twice with a friend and twice by myself. It’s a very basic hotel, no breakfast, no shuttle but what it does have are clean rooms with a microwave, refrigerator, air conditioner, internet and a beautiful outdoor area. It’s close to the airport and Port Everglades, Uber cost has been around $10. from the hotel to the port. Nelson, the manager is so nice and helpful. Because I have been arriving so early after disembarking from a ship, he has let me leave my luggage locked in my room even though the room isn’t ready to occupy yet. There is a Starbucks across the street, and a fantastic Italian restaurant just a short walk away. There’s also a Walgreens nearby. Prices are very reasonable even during spring break compared with other hotels in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived late at the hotel and although the first floor room was quiet and clean I was disappointed to find not a single tissue in the unit. Also, the smoke detector on the ceiling had its door open and, from what we could see, it did not have a battery in it.
The location of this hotel suited our needs otherwise. It is conveniently located near an IHOP where we ate breakfast, and a Walgreens, where I purchased issues.

Room was OK, but the customer service was extremely lacking and unhelpful.

I accidentally left a carry on bag in our hotel room when departing on a cruise. When I contacted the hotel after returning home, they told me that the bag was there and that it was up to me (out of state) to get it shipped. There's a Walgreen's across the street that has a FedEx shipping center and a Mail Center store two blocks away, but the hotel folks said "they didn't have the time" to ship the bag back to me (of course, I would have been grateful to have paid for their time and effort and the shipping costs). Fortunately the people at The Mail Center of Ft. Lauderdale were willing to go to the hotel, pick up the bag and ship it to me. Kudos to Joe at The Mail Center.

Oasis Hotel people, you missed a chance to show good will towards a customer who had spent two nights in your hotel.

This hotel is great. Do not expect a luxurious property but you get a good sized comfortable room with all the amenities you need on a nicely landscaped property. It is well located for restaurants, shopping and walking along the waterways. Well priced with a Manager who will do anything to make your stay the best, it is the perfect place to stay prior to a cruise. We have stayed there before and will not hesitate to book again next time we cruise from Fort Lauderdale

We had to go to Ft. Lauderdale on a quick 2 trip and booked the hotel mostly based on the map. We were very pleasantly surprised! the location was great, very near to everything we needed, it was a straight shot from the airport, very easy to get to.
The room was not facing the street so it was a very quiet place to get some good sleep, the room was ample, sparsely furnished but very enjoyable, we especially like the patio or garden area in the back, it was very well kept and relaxing.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. I stayed in Room 1 under the name Reagan Beckett. To start off, I had called two days before my stay to confirm my reservation and was sent to voicemail and never received a call back. When I brought it up to the front desk upon checkin, she suggested that I had called the incorrect number and handed me a business card. It was the same number. Bugs in the bathroom (different species too - some flying and some crawling up drains in the shower). Sink drained SLOWLY. Hair dryer stuck on low setting with no way to turn it off except unplugging it. Air conditioner was bad to begin with. Then stopped working in the middle of the night. In Florida. When it's over 80 degrees in the middle of the night. Absolutely not worth $100+. I have stayed in hotels where I have feared for my own life and those were nicer than this one. Staff only on site from 9am-8pm and are totally unreachable otherwise. Anything but an "oasis." More like "desert mirage."

Edit: The staff confronted me about my Google Review after authorization of a refund. They have also now left my credit card company (and their business partner since they are listed on the company's travel website) on hold for 2+ hours.
