I came to Ft Lauderdale for a funeral & had to stay an extra couple of days. I called because my $100 deposit wasn't credited to my account since the 7th of July. The owner lied saying that there was feces all over the comforter, sheet, floor & all of the towels & he had to throw them away. My daughter & an independent 3rd party picked me up to leave the room & there was no such thing. This is a bold-faced lie. I'm guessing bc I'm disabled, this man thinks he can get away with this. I'm sure he's unaware that I'm retired law enforcement. Problem is, I was barely even in the room & was going back & forth to events. This is outrageous!
This was our third stay and our place of choice when we cruise. Just a few minutes to the parking facility and some good close dining choices. Starbucks across the street to get breakfast and a comfortable courtyard to bring it back to.
We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise. The Oasis is close to airport and cruise port. It was about $15 using uber from airport and about $7 to cruise port. The staff were nice. The court yard was amazing with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. We also saw a cat there. The room was a little dirty on the floors. The front door of the room opened outward which is kind of odd. The weirdest thing was there was a small step to get in the bathroom. This can be a tripping hazard if you had to use bathroom in the middle of the night. The wifi was really slow. We went to Starbucks across the street to get decent wifi. There was a Walgreens and Pizza hut nearby. All in all I would recommend staying at the Oasis and would return again.
Excellent location for cruisers! Would not hesitate to stay again if cruising out of Port Everglades. We reserved a room with one queen bed. Bed was comfy. Room was on the small side, but adequate for our needs, and clean, It was nice to have a fridge to chill beverages. Surprised to find a basket of personal care items in the bathroom, including toothbrush and paste, if you've forgotten those. Nice, homey place, with a lovely courtyard to relax, visit, etc.
This little hotel is perfectly located between the airport and the cruise port across the street from Walgreens. Nothing fancy but very clean and a nice back patio with a beautiful garden Staff was friendly thank you
