Had a quick 1 night business trip here and was very impressed by the staff. Iris greeted me at nearly midnight and was very welcoming and anticipated all my needs. Daniel the GM was very present and obviously runs a tight ship. Thanks for a great stay!
We have stayed at Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort twice this year. We enjoyed it so much that I decided to bring my whole extended family over again in January next year. The location of the hotel was the first thing that has drawn me there. It is right across the street from the beach. The hotel has its own beach access overpass, too. The Starbucks on the first floor of the south tower has the best ocean front seating area. It is a covered terrace facing the ocean. Such a good place to relax. The onsite restaurant has a huge outdoor dining area which is elevated from the street level, offering a great ocean view. A great place to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel is within a very short walk to all the hopping bars, restaurants, and a CVS on the south end of the beach. I have compared all the options on in the area. Westin definitely has the best value for the buck. What makes this Westin stand out is the staff here. Everyone we met, from the valet, front desk, to restaurant staff, were all genuinely friendly and helpful. On my first trip there in July, the director of front operation Robert M. happened to be at the front desk to check me in. I was so impressed by his professional and yet personal approach. As a frequent traveler with titanium status, I have seen my share of the Bonvoy hotels and staff. This Westin is definitely among the best. To be honest, the facility is a little dated. But the rooms are nice and comfortable. The level of service has more than compensated for what's lagging on the hardware. I have also found another convenient feature: there is an Avis car rental counter a block away at W hotel. I found it very useful if you only need a car for a day. I love this hotel and its staff. I will keep going back there.…
I recently stayed at this resort and the front desk staff made me feel important and took care of all of my needs. The team was patient and understanding. I specifically want to mention Iris and Steph. They ensured I had my bottle waters and greeted me daily The resort is also very clean and provide hand sanitizer at each location within the hotel for safety measures. I highly recommend this resort when staying at Fort Lauderdale Beach, FL.
1200 dollars will get you a tired, shabby room that hasn’t been updated since 2005 (for two nights) . There is no social distancing, whatsoever. The beach chairs you pay for, are disgusting and falling apart, no umbrella provided. You are not on the beach, two elevators and a long bridge will get you there.
This hotel exceeded all expectations and made me feel really safe during COVID 19. Rooms are sparkling clean and the staff is so kind and makes the trip memorable. Speak to Tashelle at the front desk (:
