Great service. Great location. Exceptional fitness center and on-site dining options. Great value for the area. Clean rooms and attentive staff. The only negative was that I stayed in the older half of the property, and the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and some updates.

I have spent many winters in beautiful Ft Lauderdale and always enjoyed dining at the Riverside Hotel’s wonderful restaurants. This was the first time though that I actually stayed at the property and found my expectations were not only met, but exceeded! The accommodations were, as expected, well decorated, up-to-date and comfortable. The staff experiences however were more than I could ever have expected. All the way from the housekeepers to the management, everyone was courteous, friendly and helpful. But there were two of the front desk staff who, in my estimation, absolutely shined and deserve mentioning by name. David and Kavoen treated me, not only as a guest, but as a friend. They both went above and beyond on more than one occasion to come to my aid. Traveling and staying alone is something that is new to me and I can find myself needing some assistance or guidance every now and then. Such as needing a wine screw pull! These two gentlemen were always willing to help and that was something I appreciated. I will most certainly return to the Riverside Hotel the next time that I am in the Lauderdale area. And I hope that I will have the pleasure of greeting these two gentlemen once again on my return.…

Booked this hotel on the recommendation of a friend who has been several times. It’s a mixed review as we had a couple of issues. Location - can’t fault it. In the heart of the action and near to all the lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Looks like there going to be a refresh of the hotel based on posters displayed in the hotel. We arrived early after disembarking from a two week cruise. Advised to leave luggage and check in later - not a problem. Lovely xmas tree was up and there was a nice feel about the reception area with the Xmas decorations. Unfortunately we missed the xmas on Las Olas event which was being held on 28th. It looked as if it was going to be awesome. At check in I asked for a nice, quiet room as we had gone through several time changes on the cruise from Barcelona and sleeping hadn’t been that good. I think he misheard me as he allocated us room 221. Second floor, directly above the valet parking area. Looking out over the large green valet canopy. It’s also directly opposite the ice making machine - so noisy, especially late at night. It’s also located at the lift and the housekeepers cupboard. Noise is constant throughout the night and early in the morning when the two housekeepers are talking / shouting. In summary, this room is probably the worst room in the hotel. If I had been there for more than 2 nights I would’ve asked to be moved. You have been warned.…

Love this hotel and it is the only place we stay when we travel to Ft Lauderdale. We love the location, convenience and ease The only complaint is the piano in the hotel bar - it is definitely not background music. It makes it hard to even have a conversation. Other than that - it is fantastic!!

We have stayed here before and it is our favourite hotel. The location is excellent: walking distance to lots of restaurants, Starbucks, pastry shop across the street, Cheesecake factory right there as well as the water taxi right there. Has a lovely pool and bar and restaurant as well.

Perfect location! Quiet and comfortable - loved the balcony with a view of the waterway. Could walk to numerous restaurants and water taxi, which was right behind the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been using this hotel for years. It is in an ideal location for all Las Olas has to offer. The rooms are spacious and the staff very warm and welcoming. Breakfasts are great! Our go to place in Fort Lauderdale

We got off to a shaky start at this hotel. Our room was ready but they wanted 75.00US if we wanted to go to it early, what, the room is empty that is crazy. Instead we had them store the luggage and came back at noon as they suggested to get into the room. When we came to register we encountered KAVOEN, what a gem. He offered us a balcony upgrade for 25.00 which was money much better spent as we used a lot over the 2 days. He also gave us restaurant suggestions and helpful with our checkout. To be honest this review would not have been 5* if we had not encountered KAVOEN. The Boathouse and the Lyons lounge were both very good, we had 3 meals and happy hour between them. The weather was so rainy, but we still enjoyed the lovely pool. Would recommend this hotel.

Had a 3 night stay here in 2019 , couldn’t wait to stay again for 3 nights after a cruise. The hotel is still wonderful. The charm remains. We were upgraded to a junior suite by lovely Angelique for our 25th anniversary. Fabulous ! Super views. All restaurants were superb. Ate twice in Wild Sea , lobster salad highly recommended , glass of champagne gifted to us at second dinner for my birthday. The Boathouse burgers were fantastic ! All staff are fantastic. Super service ! Can’t wait to come again. 🥂❤️
