When my husband, me and our two teenage children came our room was given to somebody else and the only choice we had was a smoking room. Travelocity charged us for two nights but we were forced to pay again. The explanation was that the hotel has a conflict with Travelicity and it is our irresponsibility was to cancel our first...

Just needed a place to stop in overnight while heading back up from the Keys and didn't want to spend alot of money. Checked in at 10pm with no problems, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed pretty comfortable. We didn't stay for breakfast, but after being advised at check-in that is would only be 'very basic', I...

Visited Everglades National Park recently, thought this is a reasonably close by place to stay. Man, what a mistake! This has to be the worst place in the country. Very dirty, very bare minimum service. The owner didn't even try to keep up with the basic maintenance. Breakfast is just some cheap white bread. Yucky smelling rooms, including the office....

Edit: I downgraded the hotel b/c I was double charged for the room. The exact thing happened to another reviewer in June 2010. When I checked in, they told me that they did not get a confirmation email from Priceline. They wanted to run my credit card, and I told them that I did not want to be double charged....

The motel is very dingy and very scary. I was hesitant to leave the vehicle. The room was not what we asked for. We wanted a king bed, but got two doubles instead. The Internet that's supposedly free appears to be at dial up speed. Don't even bother with the free breakfast. The bathroom short goes from hot to cold...

There were clean sheets and towels, and the air conditioner worked. The room had a microwave (which we didn't use) and a mini fridge, but that's the extent of the amenities. The mattress and pillows were lumpy, the fixtures rusted, the bathroom window was broken and when we checked in, the clerk tried to upcharge for a non-smoking room. We...

After we booked I read the reviews on here and became terrified about what we got...
