When I first arrived on 4/3/12 my first impression of the place was "what the hell did I get myself into". The manager didn't even greet me at the front desk, he was so rude and irate because I checked-in late and he'd already fallen asleep in the back room. He argued and tried to charge me extra because I...

This motel is a disgrace.A garbage container outside our room was overflowing when we arrived at 1.30pm and was the same way when we checked out the next day. The taps in the bathroom sink were sitting loose on the sink and could both be lifted out. I mentioned it to the owner because it could easily have flooded the...

On a visit to the Everglades from northern Florida, a friend and I were looking for a place to spend the night before visiting day. This motel was adequate. Rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Beds were soft but OK. Well situated, with a very good Italian restaurant right next door. Breakfast was minimal (toast, coffee and muffins)....

When my husband, me and our two teenage children came our room was given to somebody else and the only choice we had was a smoking room. Travelocity charged us for two nights but we were forced to pay again. The explanation was that the hotel has a conflict with Travelicity and it is our irresponsibility was to cancel our first...

Just needed a place to stop in overnight while heading back up from the Keys and didn't want to spend alot of money. Checked in at 10pm with no problems, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed pretty comfortable. We didn't stay for breakfast, but after being advised at check-in that is would only be 'very basic', I...

Visited Everglades National Park recently, thought this is a reasonably close by place to stay. Man, what a mistake! This has to be the worst place in the country. Very dirty, very bare minimum service. The owner didn't even try to keep up with the basic maintenance. Breakfast is just some cheap white bread. Yucky smelling rooms, including the office....

Edit: I downgraded the hotel b/c I was double charged for the room. The exact thing happened to another reviewer in June 2010. When I checked in, they told me that they did not get a confirmation email from Priceline. They wanted to run my credit card, and I told them that I did not want to be double charged....

The motel is very dingy and very scary. I was hesitant to leave the vehicle. The room was not what we asked for. We wanted a king bed, but got two doubles instead. The Internet that's supposedly free appears to be at dial up speed. Don't even bother with the free breakfast. The bathroom short goes from hot to cold...
