I was very happy with the room i had. It was clean and very quiet. The price was a bargain as well. I will definitely be staying there again soon. Rosa at the front desk was so nice and pleasant. It is also very close to everything.
Was on my own heading for the Keys for some snorkeling and needed a place to sleep. The price was low and ratings were not too bad so stayed here. The room was clean enough and the wifi worked so there was a good cost/price/value relationship. Yes, there were some insects but, given the high humidity and the fact that the doors open to the outside with small spaces between the threshold & the bottom of the door, it is to be expected. One thing that really irked me is that they advertise a free breakfast -- but they don't. After complaining to the booking site, I have been told that due to the sudden COVIS-19 outbreak, they no longer provide the free breakfast (they're watching out for my health, you understand). That is all very thoughtful of them except the COVID-19 thing has actually been going on for almost 9 months so maybe it's time they realize they're not going to be offering the free breakfast anytime soon and should quit advertising it. When I complained to the travel site about the false advertising they told me the hotel offers a grab & go breakfast. Why then did the lady at the front desk tell me I should go down the street to the bakery when I asked her about breakfast? Like everyone else, I hate liars and for that reason I have downgraded my rating. They need to learn it's the little things that count.…
We stayed here so we could get an early start to Everglades National park. The room itself was nice enough. It looked like they had recently remodeled. There was also a pool that we did not use. They said there was laundry on site, but they were not sure if it even worked. Went to go look at it, and the machines were very old and in this dark, dirty closet type area. Decided not to try it. The biggest downfall for us about this hotel is it seems to be in a very shady area. It didn't feel very safe at all. The hotel itself was fine, but the area made it so I don't know if I would stay there again.
I stayed at this hotel on my way to Key West and I had a wonderful stay. Nice and clean rooms, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and plenty of eating options nearby exceeded my expectations for a one night stay. I recommend it.
I arrived to the hotel and checked in at the office. I went to my room and soon as I opened the door I could see clearly that my room wasn't clean so I started recording the condition of the room so I would have a time stamp on entry. I called the desk about my room and I was told they could move me to a double bed room only because there was no king bed rooms available. I asked was there a manager available and I was told the manager would be in the office in the morning at 0700. I went to the office that morning around 0900 and showed the manager the video and she was shocked by condition of the room and showed it the the housekeeping supervisor. The mamgar asked what could she do and I was like I stayed in the room already so what are you willing to do at this point. She moved me to another room and reimburse me for one night stay. They put me on the low budget side which was on the opposite side of the office and it had a lot of loitering and activities like weed smoking etc. The other side which was by the pool is where I stayed my last night and it was cleaner and no extra activities. I couldn't believe the same hotel had rooms that was like day and night. If you have to stay here ask for a room on the pool side in the hopes you get a average room for your money.…
