The best hostel I stayed in during the last 4 months of travelling. It's just lovely. We camped in the back, which is like the campers dream come true :)

charming garden, very clean, you can use the kitchen to cook yourself. I thing is the best place to stay if you are travelling to the everglades and don't want to stay in mighty motel.

I stayed at the Everglades Hostel per suggestion of a local. I had business in Miami and fell in love with the hostel after the first night! The hostel is beautiful with an amazing outdoor area with rope swings, hammocks and waterfall with pool! I can't say enough how amazing the staff was! The hostel is super clean, safe and... More

We had a private room with a shared bathroom. Clean and cosy rooms and the garden is very nice! It has many spots where you can hang out alone or with the other guests. There are communal dinners for only $5 but you can also use the kitchen for your own cooking. The staff is very easygoing and friendly and... More

First off, people going here need to know that it's a hostel (this should be apparent from the name) which means it's no frills. If you're looking for the Ritz, then go stay there. Some of the poor reviews discuss a lack of amenities, but the reality is that for a hostel this place was really great! There are really... More

We discovered this gem and will be certain to return, again and again. This is not your typical hostel. Something for everyone; from a simple place to lay your head for the night, to amazing rooms, with every comfort you could ever want. Close to everything, yet secluded. The food is fantastic and the tours are the best around (Graham... More

You must make your bed, no towel for 75 dollars, only customers scam. Pictures on internet not really. One bathroom in hostel, no hot water. No community at all: ask for a beer, you must going yourself outside to the market.

Hello Couack, We have solved the issue of the old school hostel practice of traveling green and bringing linens for private rooms with shared bathrooms and all private rooms with private bathrooms. They are now made and the towels are included. We do have 13 bathrooms at our hostel! Don't know how you missed the three available to the Private... More

We stayed three nights in the Nenby Guest House -- adjacent to the hostel area, but in a secluded corner -- and loved it. This hostel seems to be the vision of one lady, and she has attracted a varied and interesting staff that provided a relaxing and very economical alternative to the chains and strip malls in the surrounding... First of all this is a hostel, and run like one: communal meals, shared bathrooms, some very unusual travelers from all over the world. After staying on the Keys for a few days in pricey digs I wanted something less expensive for our two nights at the mouth of the Everglades. This hostel is run well. Rooms were clean, although... I just got back from a trip, but I already miss this place. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it has a lot more to offer than any resort. My kids loved this place so much, and they asked me why we haven't stayed in hostel before. Its location is perfect if you heading down to Key West or... More
