Very friendly people! We had problems with our carrier, which had left our luggage in Nasau. It was a real hassle getting it back. Fortunately, the manager helped us making phone calls, as english is not our native language, and was very supportive. The atmosphere is really special and the garden is quite lush! We booked a full day tour...

Florida City is an ideal location to all of southeast attractions. If you are open minded, don't miss this hostel to relax and meet interesting people. You will experience great amenities and share kitchen incl. disposable pancakes with fellow travelers. Only shared bathrooms could become a bottleneck. Also, booking Everglades tours shall be done upfront.

I wasn't going to write this, but I feel the need to warn others. Sketchy neighborhood, furniture looks like it was picked up off a trash pile, broken windows, missing window slats, nobody at the desk, keys left out in the open. You cannot flush your toilet paper - like in a 3rd world country! I have been to other...

I stayed here 13 years ago. I stumbled on it, when I rented a car to go toward the keys from Miami, and I have often thought about my stay here since. It use to be a run down Motel 8, but was bought up by a young free spirt, and converted to a Hostel. It looks like it has...

I've stayed in a huge number of hostels in my time, and I really can't say enough good things about this one. The amenities are fantastic (swimming pool with waterfall, huge treehouse, lots of very cool outdoor sitting spaces, fire pit / oven, outdoor showers, free breakfasts....), and the staff are super friendly and helpful. When we discovered after our...

As someone who has traveled quite a bit and stayed at many hostels all over the world, this one was truly a disappointment. I had heard of Everglades International Hostel through a fellow traveler a few years back and always wanted to stay there, so as my boyfriend and I were driving through Southern Florida this past week we knew...

Since writing my last review, I've been back many times and it is still a breath of fresh air. I've been coming here to work on my book, which apparently a lot of other writers have done as well - there's something inspiring about the atmosphere. The owner is an expert on the Everglades and they offer a number of...

It was a very funny and welcoming (friendly) place, the hosts were like the hippies, everything in the frigo was common. The room was small and hot but it was very authentic. I felt like in woodstock. it was very cheap.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in a private room (water room) with a shared bath. The room was clean and the bed and linens were nice. We didn't do a lot at the hostel due to being in the keys all day both days but enjoyed the comfy bed and relatively quiet nights. A couple things...

Stopped by on our way to the keys... we were able to pop up the tent and get a couple hours of sleep before heading out in the morning... such a cute little place.. had a quick shower.. very clean bathrooms! And make your own pancakes in the morning! Would totally come back if I'm ever around again
