I've stayed in a huge number of hostels in my time, and I really can't say enough good things about this one. The amenities are fantastic (swimming pool with waterfall, huge treehouse, lots of very cool outdoor sitting spaces, fire pit / oven, outdoor showers, free breakfasts....), and the staff are super friendly and helpful. When we discovered after our...

As someone who has traveled quite a bit and stayed at many hostels all over the world, this one was truly a disappointment. I had heard of Everglades International Hostel through a fellow traveler a few years back and always wanted to stay there, so as my boyfriend and I were driving through Southern Florida this past week we knew...

Since writing my last review, I've been back many times and it is still a breath of fresh air. I've been coming here to work on my book, which apparently a lot of other writers have done as well - there's something inspiring about the atmosphere. The owner is an expert on the Everglades and they offer a number of...

It was a very funny and welcoming (friendly) place, the hosts were like the hippies, everything in the frigo was common. The room was small and hot but it was very authentic. I felt like in woodstock. it was very cheap.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in a private room (water room) with a shared bath. The room was clean and the bed and linens were nice. We didn't do a lot at the hostel due to being in the keys all day both days but enjoyed the comfy bed and relatively quiet nights. A couple things...

Stopped by on our way to the keys... we were able to pop up the tent and get a couple hours of sleep before heading out in the morning... such a cute little place.. had a quick shower.. very clean bathrooms! And make your own pancakes in the morning! Would totally come back if I'm ever around again

My husband thought it would be a neat experience for our family to stay in a hostel, but I don't think I would ever repeat it. "Linens" consisted of sleeping bags and sheets thrown in our arms. Bathroom had no soap and there was a sign that said not to flush toilet paper down!! You definitely need to be okay...

We stayed in the small Nimby cottage which was perfect for us. A thoughtfully presented room with large bed and linen, bathroom with fluffy towels and a private kitchen area. We had access to all communal areas but could retreat to a private fresh water pool and sun loungers. The hostel volunteers and guests were all incredibly welcoming and friendly....

We stayed in a our tent in the garden and loved it (regardless of the somewhat cold February nights, as our hosts even provided us with an extra blanket). The friendly environment, good prices and the possibility to make your own panncakes in the morning as well as to chat with other travellers makes one feel very cosy and relaxed...

I stayed at the hostel in a female dorm room. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I loved sitting around the main dining table, eating pancakes and socializing with people from all over the world. I can't wait to go back! The outdoor shower rocks! Traci
