1. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting North East Florida 02. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. 03. I had a wonderful experience at the Ritz Carton. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff (Janiking) were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues and family.

Visited this month for a 5 night stay. All expectations were met and exceeded. Every RC team member we encountered was happy and courteous. The personal touches by the entire RC team went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Although the hotel was hosting two conferences, the resort never felt overcrowded. While I am sure they are still understaffed still, this was never presented to us as an excuse and everyone appeared to instead just give 110%. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience when we traveled there for three days in August. My observations below: 1. Lack of upgrades. I understand you can't expect an upgrade, but I have very high status in Bonvoy, the hotel was at VERY low capacity (confirmed by numerous staff members) and we also have a corporate relationship with Marriott. Despite all of these factors, we were only given a standard king room with only a partial water view. Just unacceptable to not even get a full water view. 2. Suboptimal valet service. We drove an electric vehicle to the hotel and it got stuck in the charger. Fine, but we called down 90 mins ahead of time and the valet service refused to inform us that they couldn't retrieve our car and it took an hour before they finally admitted it and we ended up late to a dinner reservation. 3. Poor casual restaurant experience. We had dinner at their casual dining restaurant, Coast, and it was horrible. Poor service, bland food and they overcharged us for the wine. 4. Poor beach service. Towels strewn all over the beach chairs despite lots of staff on hand. Their staff had obviously not been properly trained. 5. Room renovations are OK but not great. They recently renovated their rooms, but they aren't impressive. No towel bar in the bathroom (only in the shower), no master on/off switches and the outside of the hotel has not been renovated, so the balcony feels dirty and dated. Fine for a Sheraton, but not for a Ritz Carlton. 6. Pluses. On the plus side, the staff is generally helpful. The spa and fitness center have both not been renovated (and need it), but the spa and fitness service is excellent. Their fine dining restaurant, Salt, is decent but not memorable. They do have a very nice pool area and outdoor bar area. The location overlooking the dunes is beautiful. Hope people find this helpful. They need to renovate the rest of the hotel as well as properly train their staff before they are really ready to reopen.

We were here for a meeting and for the life of me I can not comprehend how people spend over a $1k/night for this hotel (our rate was significantly lower due to the meeting and still ridiculous IMHO). We had paint peeling off our wall in the room and the grounds are ok but nothing overly impressive. In addition, to have a $40 resort fee AND a $35 valet fee (plus tax) is ludicrous. I guess for those folks looking to maintain that "RItz" image more power to ya because there's definitely a price for it~

We stayed here 10 years ago and the thing that stuck with me was how they responded "absolutely" to every single request! We spent this weekend further south but wanted to stop at the Ritz overnight on our way back home. Check in was wonderful! I was even able to check in early! Which was a huge plus! Antonio at the front desk was wonderful! He recognized my elite status and gave me a great upgrade! Room was beautiful! The view was spectacular! So why the mixed feelings? I'm a registered nurse and during these times more than ever, cleanliness is a priority. And this Ritz missed the mark on that. The room itself was clean but the shower had mildew all over the ceiling. And I do mean lots of mildew. Totally unacceptable! Honestly I'm concerned about the condition of my lungs as I type this. On another note, the spa was fantastic! My massage was worth every single penny! I will definitely go back to this Ritz! But I will check the shower for mildew before I settle in! I'm Attaching photos of the shower! Hopefully they will fix this expeditiously!
